국문 초록

본 연구는 ERP 시스템의 성공요인이 사용자 만족과 재무적 성과에 미치는 영향관계를 규명함으로써 기업들이 ERP 시스템을 도입하는데 적합한 판단기준과 지침을 제공하고자 한다. 실증분석에서 ERP 시스템의 성공요인, 사용자 만족, 재무적 성과의 영향관계에 대한 가설검정 결과 상호 영향관계에 대한 연구모형이 적합한 것으로 분석되었으며 첫째, ‘ERP 시스템의 성공요인은 사용자 만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다’라는 가설 1을 검정한 결과 ERP 시스템 성공요인 모두 사용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, ‘사용자 만족은 재무적 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다’라는 가설 2를 검정한 결과 사용자 만족의 구성요인은 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, ‘ERP 시스템의 성공요인은 재무적 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이다’라는 가설 3을 검정한 결과 ERP 시스템의 성공요인 모두 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 이론적 측면과 실무적 측면에서 다음과 같은 점을 시사하고 있다. 첫째, ERP 시스템의 성공요인은 사용자 입장에서 사용자 만족, 기업의 입장에서 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치고 있다는 사실의 중요성을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 사용자 만족은 재무적 성고에 직접적으로 영향을 미침으로써 기업의 ERP 시스템의 도입 및 운용 효과를 입증하고 있다. 셋째, ERP 시스템의 공급업체는 사용자들이 선호하는 제품의 특성을 잘 고려하여 ERP 시스템을 설계해야 할 필요성이 있음을 알 수 있다. 넷째, ERP 시스템의 성공요인을 우선적으로 파악하여 시스템 사용자들이 효율적으로 운용할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 것이 바람직하다. 다섯째, ERP 시스템의 도입 단계에서부터 최고경영자, 사용자, 시스템 공급업체 등의 견해를 종합하여 ERP 시스템을 구축해야 한다.

영문 초록

As business environment recently becomes globalization, many enterprises are investing greatly on the introduction and management of information systems for possessing competitive power in market and management innovation in accordance with a rapid progress of information technology. In particular, the ERP system has been actively introduced for the efficiency improvement in business prior to the business process reengineering since a financial crisis in 1997, and it has been authentically evaluated as the most effective tool for the use of information technology. Therefore, this study aims to provide a proper norm and guide with enterprises for the introduction of the ERP system by investigating how much influence the success factors of the ERP system have upon users’ satisfaction and financial performance. Literary and positive studies are conducted together in order to obtain the goal of this study. Hypotheses are suggested through the investigation of the existing literature and a research model for them is designed. In addition, four success factors of the ERP system(its characteristics, the support of CEO, self-confidence of his own ability, users’ paricipation, a training and education for them), users’ satisfaction, and cognitive financial performance in 151 enterprises which use the ERP system are investigated through the survey for 663 domistic enterprises, and their correlation is examined through a regression analysis. As a result of investigating the correlation of the success factors of the ERP system, users’ satisfaction and financial performance, a research model for correlation is properly analyzed and its performance are as follows: First, as a result of testifying hypothesis 1 “the success factors of the ERP system will have a positive influence upon users’ satisfaction,” it is proved that the success factors of the ERP system all have an influence upon users’ satisfaction. Second, as a result of testifying hypothesis 2 “users’ satisfaction will have a positive influence upon financial performance,” it is proved that the factors of users’ satisfaction have an influence upon financial performance. Third, as a result of testifying hypothesis 3 “the success factors of the ERP system will have a positive influence upon financial performance,” it is proved that the success factors of the ERP system all have an influence upon financial performance. In conclusion, this study attempts to suggest the following in the theoretical and practical aspects: First, it can be significantly seen that the ERP system have an influence upon users’ satisfaction from the viewpoint of users, while they have an influence upon financial performances from the viewpoint of enterprise. Second, it is proved that the factors of users’ satisfaction have a direct influence upon financial performance. Thus, the effects of introducing and managing the ERP system are proved. Third, it is proved that it is necessary for suppliers of the ERP system in consideration of the characteristics of products and users prefer. Fourth, it is desirable that circumstances should be created by understanding the success factors of the ERP system in advance so that its users can manage it effectively. Fifth, the ERP system should be established by collecting opinions of CEOs, users, and system suppliers at the stage of its introduction.
