국문 초록

농업회계(farm, or agricultural accounting)는 농업경영체의 이해관계자들의 합리적 의사결정에 유용한 회계정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그러나 농업경영체가 회계거래를 기록하지 않는 경우 재무상태와 경영성과 등을 파악할 수 없게 되어 합리적인 농업경영을 수행하는데 필요한 회계정보를 입수할 수 없게 된다. 우리나라는 농림축산식품부를 중심으로 농업경영체가 농업회계를 도입할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 농업진흥청은「농업회계처리 모범(예)」를 토대로 농업회계에 대한 표준실무서와「농업회계지침」을 제시하였다. 그러나 아직까지는 농업회계처리 실무에 대한 이론이나 사례 보급은 미흡한 실정이다. 다른 업종과는 달리 농업경영체가 농업회계를 도입하는데 있어서 다소 생소하고 어려운 측면이 있을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 농업경영체가 전산회계프로그램인 케이 렙(KcLep)을 이용하여 스스로 회계기록을 하고 재무제표를 작성할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 회계순환과정에 대한 실무 사례와 전산회계처리과정을 체계적으로 제시할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 농업경영체가 농업회계의 필요성을 인식하고, 재무제표 작성에 필요한 기본지식을 습득하는데 기여할 것으로 예상된다. 또한 본 사례연구는 학문적인 측면에서 농업회계에 대한 이론을 구축하며, 대학에서의 농업 전산회계 교육의 도입에 필요한 기초자료와 정보를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 판단된다.

영문 초록

Agricultural(or, farm) accounting provides useful accounting information for interested groups of agricultural bodies in order to help with their rational decision making. However, in case agricultural management bodies do not keep accounting transaction record, relevant accounting information can not be obtained for rational agricultural management due to lack of understanding related financial statement and managerial performance. In cooperation with Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), the Ministry of Agriculture is making much efforts to help agricultural management bodies to introduce agricultural accounting system. Rural Development Administration (RDA) has proposed Agricultural Accounting Guidebook and Agricultural Accounting Guidelines based on examples of agricultural accounting practices. However, there are not still enough theories of agricultural accounting processing or its practice available. Unlike other categories of business, agricultural management bodies may face some difficulty or awkwardness introducing agricultural accounting system. Therefore, the current study tries to conduct accounting recording using computerized accounting program called KcLep and make financial statement. In order to achieve this goal, the researcher will demonstrate practical examples of accounting cycles and computerized accounting processing in a systematic manner. The results of this study are expected to contribute to providing basic skills needed for writing financial statement let alone to realizing the necessity of agricultural accounting on the part of agricultural management bodies. This case study is also thought to contribute to theorizing academic framework for agricultural accounting, as well as providing basic resources for introducing computerized agricultural accounting education at the university level.
