국문 초록

본 연구는 독일의 역량중심 미술과 교육과정을 분석함으로써 한국의 미술과 교육과정 개정을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 독일의 바이에른, 바덴-뷔르템부르크 주의 김나지움 교육과정이며, 두 교육과정에 제시된 미술 교육의 목표, 과정역량, 내용영역을 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 독일 역량중심 미술과 교육과정의 역량 모형은 이미지 역량의 학습과 관련된 활동을 제시하는 과정역량과 미술의 다양한 장르를 포괄하는 내용영역으로 구성되고, 교육목표로서 교과 역량인 이미지 역량을 강조하며, 미디어를 내용영역에 제시하는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 미술과 교육과정의 개정을 위한 본 연구의 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술과 교육과정의 내용영역은 미술의 다양한 장르를 반영하여 구체적으로 설정되어야 한다. 둘째, 교육 목표로서의 교과 역량과 일관성을 갖는 구체적인 하위역량을 내용체계에 제시해야 한다. 셋째, 시각문화 환경의 변화에 따라 미디어를 내용영역에 반영할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the art curricula of two German states, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, to find potential areas of improvement for the curriculum revision in South Korea. The purpose of art education, process competency, and content areas presented in the curricula are analyzed and compared. The research findings are as follows. Competency models in German art curricula are presented as a combination of process competencies and content area. The process competencies represent the procedure of art, such as reception, production, and reflection. The content area consists of various art genres, such as graphics, painting, plastic arts, architecture, and media. Furthermore, the curricula emphasize image competency as visual literacy and media constitutes one of the content areas. Therefore, this study suggests the following three points. First, art curricula should accommodate the content areas that cover a comprehensive repertoire of artistic means. Second, it is necessary to define sub-competences which are in consistency with the upper-class subject competency in terms of the educational goal in the content system. Last but not least, the content areas should include media considering the current visual culture.
