국문 초록

이 연구는 대학입학사정관의 사회적ㆍ법적 지위와 관련한 문헌 자료 및 설문 조사 자료를 토대로 하여 대학입학사정관의 지위 보장이 갖는 사회적 의미와 그에 따른 함의를 탐색하였다. 또 대학입학사정관의 법적 지위와 관련한 법률규정에 대한 분석을 통해 실질적인 법규범적 지위 및 제도적 보장의 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 그 결과로서, 대학입학사정관은 그 지위가 전임, 위촉 등의 구분을 막론하고 공정한 학생 선발과 평가를 통해 국민들의 교육받을 권리를 실현시키는 공공성을 갖는 평가전문가로서의 지위 인식을 지니고 있다. 그러나 대학입시라는 중대한 공공부문에서 담당하는 입학사정관의 지위와 역할에 비하여 법률 규정상의 지위 강화가 필요할 뿐만 아니라 대학 내 지위보장을 통한 신분 안정과 연구전문직으로서의 독립적 지위 보장과 대학입학사정관 스스로의 개인적 특성에 따른 사회적 지위 인식 강화에 대한 제도적 보완이시급히 필요한 것으로 파악되었다.

영문 초록

This study explored the social implications and implications of guaranteeing the status of university admissions officers based on literature and survey data related to the social and legal status of university admissions officers. It also sought to explore the direction of substantial legal status and institutional guarantee through analysis of legal regulations related to the legal status of university admissions officers. As a result, the university admissions officer has a recognition of his status as a public expert who realizes the right to education through fair selection and evaluation of students regardless of their status. However, it was found that not only is it necessary to strengthen the status of admissions officers in the major public sector of college entrance exams but also to secure their status as research professionals through securing their status in universities. In addition, it was deemed urgent to supplement the institutional status of university admissions officers based on their own personal characteristics.
