국문 초록

본 연구는 항공사의 지속 가능한 경영을 위해 ESG 경영의 개념을 적용한 정책 수립과 윤리경영 사례에 대하여 알아보고, 항공사의 ESG 경영을 부패방지 경영전략으로 구체화하고자 하였다. 첫째, 항공사 최고경영자의 부패 발생 원인에 따른 부패방지 전략으로 경쟁력 있는 기업지배구조의 투명화가 필수적이다.둘째, 항공사의 최고경영자를 포함한 모든 조직의 구성원들이 공감하고, 업무수행에 있어 최우선 원칙으로 수행하는 윤리적 분위기 조성이 요구된다. 셋째, 항공사 조직 내부의 부패방지경영시스템을 운영하여, 기업이 추구하는 목표달성과 직무 수행에 있어 부패행위에 노출되지 않도록 해야 한다. 또한 항공사의 부패방지를 위한 정부의 제도적 마련과 EGS 경영활동과 기업의 재무성과 개선에 대한 인식의 확대가 필요하다. 항공사의 경영활동에서 ESG 경영은 모든 협력적 이해관계자의 잠재적 갈등 요인을 낮추고, 이들과의 관계 형성 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 비용을 줄이고 있기 때문이다. 뿐만 아니라 항공사는 전사적인 부패방지 교육을 통해 ESG 경영 관리에 대한 의지를 표명하고 책임감을 높여야 한다. 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는 중요 ESG 요소에 대한 목표 수립과 관리를 위한 부패방지 교육을 추진함으로써 항공사의 지속가능성을 높일 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 항공사의 ESG 경영 활동이 항공사의 차별화와 경영성과 향상에 도움을 주는 요소임을 알 수 있었으며, 국내 항공사들의 적극적인 ESG 경영 활동의 필요성과 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines policy establishment and ethical management cases by applying the concept of ESG management for sustainable management of airlines. To present an anti-corruption management strategy for airline ESG management Frist, Transparency of competitive corporate governance is essential as an anti-corruption strategy of airline CEOs. Second, it is required to create an ethical atmosphere in which all members of the organization, including the airline s CEO, agree and perform as the top priority in business performance. An anti-corruption management system within the airline organization should be operated to prevent exposure to corruption in the achievement of corporate goals and performance of duties. In addition, it is necessary to prepare the government s institutional arrangements to prevent corruption in airlines, and to increase awareness of EGS management activities and corporate financial performance improvement. This is because ESG management in airline business activities lowers potential conflict factors of all cooperative stakeholders and reduces costs that may arise in the process of forming relationships with them. By promoting anti-corruption training to establish and manage targets for important ESG factors that affect corporate performance, airlines sustainability can be enhanced. Airline companies should express their commitment to ESG management and increase their sense of responsibility through company-wide anti-corruption training. This study found that ESG management activities of airlines are factors that help differentiate airlines and improve their business performance, and suggested the necessity and direction of active ESG management activities of airlines.
