2015 특수교육 기본 교육과정 중학교ㆍ고등학교 체육과 성취기준의 중요도와 적합도에 대한 특수교사의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 특수교육 기본 교육과정 체육과의 성취기준이 지적장애 중·고등학생에게 적절한지를 알아보아 향후 교육과정 개정에 고려해야 할 쟁점을 제안하고자 했다. 이를 위해 특수학교에서 일하는 체육전공, 체육교과를 가르친 특수교사들을 대상으로 4점 리커트 척도를 토대로 2015년 기본 특수교육 교육과정의 체육과의 중요도과 적합도를 분석했다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 2015 특수교육 교육과정 체육과의 내용 및 성취기준의 중요도에서 건강 영역과 안전 영역의 성취기준에 대하여 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있었으며, 적합도도 건강 영역과 안전 영역의 성취기준들은 지적장애 학생의 수준과 특성에 적합한 난이도로 구성되었다는 것을 알 수 있다. 중요도와 적합도 간 차이는 건강과 안전 영역의 모든 성취기준에 차이가 있는 것으로 중요도가 적합도보다 높은 것임을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 표현 영역 중 ‘감정 및 의사 표현’ 관련 성취기준은 차이가 있지만 민속 표현과 창작 표현은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도전 및 경쟁 영역의 일부 성취기준에서도 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았지만 중요도와 적합도가 모두 낮게 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 특수교육 기본 교육과정 체육과의 성취기준이 공통교육과정의 성취기준을 하향조정한 것으로 보여, 지적장애 학생의 특성을 고려하여 성취기준에 대한 조정이 필요함을 시사해주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the achievement standard of the physical education curriculum in 2015 Special Education Basic Curriculum is appropriate for the students with intellectual disability in middle and high schools and to suggest some points to consider in revising the curriculum in the future. Toward this purpose, the study surveyed special teachers at special schools for students with intellectual disability, focusing on the importance and appropriateness of the physical education curriculum in the 2015 basic special education curriculum, based on a 4-point Likert scale. The results of the study were as follows. The achievement standard of the health and safety area of the physical education curriculum was recognized as the most important criteria and an appropriate difficulty. The difference between the degree of importance and appropriateness in all achievement standards of the health and safety area was found, and the importance was higher than appropriateness. And there is difference in achievement standards related to ‘emotion and opinion expression’ of expression area but there is no difference in folk and creative expression. In addition, there is no difference in some achievement criteria of challenge and competition area, and both importance and appropriateness were low. Based on these results, this study suggest that adjustment of achievement standards is necessary considering characteristics of students with intellectual disabilities because the achievement standard of the physical education curriculum in 2015 Special Education Basic Curriculum seems to have downgraded the achievement standards of the common curriculum.
