국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 화학과 지속가능발전교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 화학과 교육과정과 ESD 선행 연구를 분석하여 내용요소를 추출하였다. 그리고 프로그램에 대한 아이디어를 발상하고, 교과서를 분석하여 프로그램에 대한 아이디어를 구체화하였다. 그 다음 화학과 ESD의 연계 가능성을 평가하여 ‘오리엔테이션’, ‘안전’, ‘물’, ‘에너지’, ‘건강’ 총 5가지 주제의 프로그램의 주제를 선정하였다. 그 후에 교과서를 분석하여 교수-학습과정안의 형태로 프로그램을 구성하였다. 마지막으로 전문가의 교차검토를 통하여 타당성을 검증한 후 프로그램을 수정 및 보완하였다. 이 프로그램은 교육 현장에서 많이 활용할 수 있도록 차시를 보완할 수 있는 형태로 구조화하였다. 이 프로그램을 통하여 학생들로 하여금 화학이 지속가능발전에 이바지할 수 있는 과목이라는 인식을 갖고, 나아가 자신이 이러한 분야에서 활약할 수 있다는 의지를 가지는 데에 도움을 줄 것이다. 또한 화학을 배우는 학생들이 화학-환경-경제-사회의 상호관계를 폭넓게 이해할 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a chemistry program associated with ESD(Education for Sustainable Development) for high school students. By analyzing chemistry curriculum and preceding research, the elements of contents were extracted. And then, the program has become concrete through generation of idea and the analysis of chemistry textbook. Next, in the process of evaluating the possibility between chemistry and ESD, the five program topics were chosen such as orientation, safety, water, energy and health. After analyzing chemistry textbook, the programs were set up in the form of teaching plan. Experts in chemistry field examined the validity evaluation thoroughly and they modified and supplemented the programs. So the programs can be utilized easily in education field and replaced in general class. And they can help students understand chemistry, which is a main subject to contribute to sustainable development. In addition, they can reinforce students to play an active role in the field of chemistry and improve further understanding of interrelation among chemistry, environment, economy and society for students who are involved in chemistry.
