국문 초록

본 연구는 헤르만 바빙크(Herman Bavinck)의 성육신 이해를 하나님과 세계의 관계를 중심으로 논의한다. 하나님의 성육신은 가능한가? 하나님과 세계를 분리하는 이신론과 하나님과 세계를 혼합하는 범신론은 성육신의 가능성을 부정한다. 그러나 개혁주의 신학은 하나님이 이 세계에 들어온 유일무이한 성육신 사건을 인정한다. 성육신은 어떤 방식일까? 안디옥 학파는 그리스도의 신성과 인성을 분리한다. 알렉산드리아 학파는 그리스도의 신성과 인성을 일치시킨다. 그러나 개혁주의 신학은 신성과 인성의 위격적 연합을 지지한다. 성육신은 필연적인가? 펠라기우스(Pelagius)는 성육신의 우연성을 주장한다. 오시안더(Osiander)는 성육신의 필연성을 주장한다. 반면, 바빙크는 속죄를 위한 성육신의 필연성을 주장한다. 이것은 그리스도와 성도의 존재론적 구별과 관계론적 연합을 확보한다. 또한 바빙크 신학 전체의 통일성을 지지한다.

영문 초록

This study discusses Herman Bavinck’s understanding of Christ’s incarnation, focusing on the relationship between God and the world. Is God’s incarnation possible? Deism separates God from the world, and pantheism mixes God and the world. Both of them deny the possibility of the incarnation. However, Reformed theology recognizes God s unique incarnation. What is the way of the incarnation? The Antiochene school separates the divinity and humanity of Christ based on deism. The Alexandrian school unites the divinity and humanity of Christ based on pantheism. However, Reformed theology supports hypostatic union of divinity and humanity. The incarnation, is it necessary? Pelagius argues for the contingency of the incarnation. Osiander claims the necessity of the incarnation. But Bavinck insists on the necessity for the purpose of atonement. It secures the ontological distinction and relational union between Christ and saints, furthermore supports the unity of the whole Bavinck’s theology.
