한국판 의사소통 기능 분류 체계의 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 뇌성마비인의 의사소통 기능을 분류하기 위해 개발된 의사소통 기능 분류 체계(Communication Function Classification System: CFCS)를 한글로 번안한 후, 번안한 CFCS의 신뢰도 및 타당도를 알아보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 뇌성마비인 40명을 대상으로 치료사 및 교사로 구성된 전문가와 부모가 CFCS를 이용하여 평가를 실시한 후, 신뢰도를 알아보았다. 또한 아동용 일상생활 평가 도구와의 상관을 통해 타당도를 알아보았다. 그 결과, 전문 검사자의 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 .991(CI = .979~1.00)이었고, 전문 검사자 간 신뢰도는 .905(CI = 864~.946)인 것으로 나타났으며, 전문 검사자-부모 간 신뢰도는 .882(CI = .837~.927)이었다. 아동용 일상생활 평가 도구와의 상관을 알아본 결과, 자조, 운동, 인지의 하위 영역 및 전체 점수와 CFCS의 상관은 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났으며(p < .05), 이중 의사소통 관련 문항이 포함되어 있는 인지 하위 영역과의 상관이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 인지 영역 하위 문항과의 상관은 표현과의 상관이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 한글로 번안한 CFCS의 신뢰도와 타당도가 확인되었다, 이 연구는 CFCS의 국내사용을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하였다는데 의미가 있다. 앞으로의 연구에서는 CFCS와 뇌성마비 아동에 대한 다양한 분류체계와의 관계를 확인하여 CFCS의 활용성을 높이는 것과 다양한 대상으로 확대하여 CFCS의 임상 적용 가능성을 알아보는 것이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to translate Communication Function Classification System (CFCS) for individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) English version into Korean version and to verify the reliability and validity of CFCS. CFCS was developed to classify communication abilities of individuals with CP. For this study, a professional group including therapists, special teachers, and a parent group evaluated functional communication abilities of 40 individuals with CP using CFCS Korean version and investigated the reliability and validity of CFCS Korean version. The results showed that the test-retest reliability among professionals was .991(CI = .979~1.00), and inter-rater reliability among professionals was .905(CI = 864~.946), and inter-rater reliability between professional and parent group was .882(CI = .837~.927). The three sub-scales including self-care, mobility, and cognition and total score in the WeeFIM were significantly correlated with CFCS Korean version. Among the correlated sub-scales, the highest correlated subscale of WeeFIM was cognition, and the highest correlated item of WeeFIM was expression. This study confirmed that the reliability and validity of CFCS Korean version were statistically reliable and provided the basic psychometric data to use CFCS in Korea. For the future, more studies should be conducted to examine the relationships and validity between various evaluation tools and functional classification tools for the individuals with CP. Also, the usefulness of CFCS Korean version would be verified as a classification system for the functional communication abilities of the individuals with CP.
