국문 초록

통합교육으로부터 가장 큰 혜택은 장애학생의 지역사회 통합에 기여한다는 것이다. 이러한 통합교육의 목적을 이루기 위해서는 장애학생과 비장애학생간의 원활한 상호작용이 필수적이다. 본 연구는 장애학생에 대한 비장애학생의 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고, 또래에게 수용되는 장애학생의 사회적 위치도 살펴보고자 했다. 본 연구는 부산광역시 공립초등학교 10개교 3-4학년에 재학 중인 통합학급 장애아동 22명의 사회적 지위를 조사하고, 이에 따른 장애아동의 수용에 영향 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위하여 통합학급 비장애아동 616명을 대상으로 질문지를 배포하였다. 그리고 본 연구에 사용한 연구도구는 원적학급 담임교사가 응답한 『통합학급 장애아동의 사회성 측정 검사지』와 장애학생이 속한 통합학급 비장애아동들이 응답한 『수용에 영향 미치는 요인 질문지』이다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 통합학급 장애아동의 사회적 지위 유형을 인기/수용형, 거부형/ 무시형으로 구분하면, 인기/수용형은 22.7%, 거부형은 36.4%, 무시형은 40.9%로 부정적인 사회적 지위에 있는 아동은 77.3%에 이른다. 둘째, 장애아동의 수용에 영향 미치는 요인으로 추출된 Ⅰ요인‘원만한 학교생활’과 Ⅱ요인‘사회적 기술’, Ⅲ요인‘호감적 특성’, 그리고 Ⅳ요인‘부정적 상호작용’중 사회적 지위별로 수용의 영향 요인 평균을 살펴보면 인기아동은 4개의 요인 모두에서 1순위로 점수가 높았으며, 무시아동은 Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ요인에서 2순위, Ⅳ요인에서 3순위의 점수를 차지했다. 거부아동은 Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ요인에서 3순위를 차지하고 Ⅳ요인에서 2순위를 차지했다. 그리고 각 요인에 따라 집단간 변량분석을 실시한 결과 요인별로 세 집단간 응답 점수가 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 4가지 요인 중 사회적 지위에 유의미한 차이를 나타내는 변인은 Ⅱ요인‘사회적 기술’로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study examined social status of students with disabilities in inclusive setting in elementary school and factors that influence on social status using teacher nomination for social status of students with disabilities assessed by teacher and checklist for factors that influence on social status. A sample of 22 students with disabilities and 592 students without disabilities came from Busan city areas. Participants were 3rd and 4th grade students. The results are followed ; 1. 77.3% of students were viewed as lower in social standing among their classmates as a whole. 2. 4 factors were identified as influential factors on social status of students with disabilities. They are [I] well adopted school activity , [II] social skills , [III] characteristics of impressions , and [IV] negative interactions . The analysis of the variation on those factors show that there were meaningful differences among those three groups in statistical terms. 3. The factor that discriminate the social status of students with disabilities in the inclusive education class was [II] social skills . Therefore, social skills are the most important factor that students have in order to be classified as being popular among peer group in the inclusive classroom.
