국문 초록

본 연구는 가족지원 프로그램이 뇌성마비아동 부모의 부담감, 우울 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 가족지원 프로그램은 Dunst와 Trivette(1994)의 가족지원 프로그램 모형에 기초하여 8회기의 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 장애전담 조기교육 기관에 내원하는 10명의 뇌성마비아동 부모에게 적용하였다. 적용 결과는 가족지원 프로그램은 뇌성마비아동 부모의 부담감을 감소시키고, 삶의 질을 증진시키는 것으로 나타났지만 우울은 영향을 미치지 못하였다.이상의 연구결과를 통해 볼 때 가족지원 프로그램은 뇌성마비아동 부모의 삶의 질을 증진시키고 부담감을 감소시켰으며 이후 대조군의 선정과 더 많은 대상자에게 본 프로그램을 적용해 볼 것을 제언한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of Family Support Program on the caregiver burden, depression and quality of life for parents who care a child with cerebral palsy at home. Family Support Program was developed based Dunst and Trivette s model(1994). Using the program, the study was carried out from Oct., 2004 to Jan., 2005, in which parents whose children aged 1 to 6 registered at educational institutions for early disabled children participated. Family support program was practiced over 8 weeks, with one time twice a week and two hours a session based. The collected data was analyzed by using SPSSWIN 10.0. The results were as follows. After treatment with Family Support Program, the subjects was found significantly decreased in score for burden and increased in score for quality of life in the comparison to the pre-test. But, the program was not found significantly decreased in score of depression. In conclusion, Family Support Program is very effective in decreasing the burden and increasing the quality of life of parents having a child with cerebral palsy. It would recommend the program should be repeated to other parents.
