국문 초록

본 연구는 포스트휴먼시대의 대항담론을 ‘생태적 총체성’관점에서 구상한다. 이 구상은 무엇보다 비판적 포스트휴머니즘이 제안하는 ‘하이브리드 정체성’개념과 ‘하나의 전체 생명’개념에 근거한다. 전자는 생물학적 결정주의에 기초한 정체성 정치를, 후자는 생물학적-개인주의적 생명 이데올로기를 넘어선다. 이 개념들은 생명윤리와 생태윤리를 연결하며, 근대의 ‘경계 짓기’ 정치를 벗어나려는 시도다. 포스트휴먼은 인간-동물-비생명-기계의 경계를 가로지르는 주체다. 또한 ‘나’와 필연적으로 연결되어 있는 다른 존재들을 동등한 관계로 수용하지 않고서는, 자신의 삶을 존재론적으로 영위할 수 없음을 아는 존재다. 이런 존재에 대한 전망은 향상된 포스트휴먼시대를 위한 중요한 기회를 제공한다. 21세기 최첨단 과학기술을 인간의 존재론적 향상을 위해 사용하는 문명의 전환에 대한 기회다포스트휴먼이 그 시대의 위기에 대항하는 방법은 무엇보다 초국적 생명자본 권력을 반대하는 것이다. 이 실천은 정치적 경제적 문화적 투쟁이며 동시에 영성적 투쟁이다. ‘나’의 완전함을 추구하는 대신, 모든 종들을, 그리고 생명체와 비생명체를 가로지르는 ‘하나의 전체생명’을 지속시키기 위해 유한한 것들이 서로 치유하기를 희망하는 영성이다. 인류세가 빚어낸 인류의 멸종위기를 막기 위한 대항담론의 핵심이다.

영문 초록

This paper conceives an opposition discourse from the viewpoint of an ecological holism . This conception is above all based on the notion of Hybrid identity and one whole life that is proposed by the critical posthumanism. The former overcomes identity politics based on the biological determinism, while the latter overcomes the limit of the ideology related to the biological-individualistic life. These concepts connect ecological ethics with bioethics, and tries to get over the bounder-making politics and ideology in the modern. Posthuman is the subject that crosses the boundaries between the human-animals- non-life -machine. Also, this subject realizes that each of us can t sustain life in the ontological sense, unless ‘I accept the other existence on an equal footing, that are inextricably tied up with me. The vision of this human must be an important chance for an enhanced posthuman epoch. This is a chance for the transition of civilization. The way posthuman fights the crises of his time is most of all refuse the transnational bio-capital power. This action is the political, economical, and cultural struggle, at the same time the spiritual struggle. This spirituality is a hope that all of the finite beings cure each other for holding one whole life, instead seeking my own completeness. The new common sense in epoch of the posthuman is equality of all beings included non-bio beings. This is a core of the opposition discours what prevents the extinction of human race accrued during the anthropocene.
