오산 독산성의 조선시대 축성사적 검토

국문 초록

본고는 오산 독산성의 조선시대 축성사적 위치를 검토하고자 그 동안에 발굴조사된 조선시대 성벽의 축성방식 및 관련시설(여장과 배수시설)을 살펴보았다. 그리고 경기도 지역에서조선시대에 경영 및 수개축된 상황이 발굴조사로 확인된 안성 죽주산성ㆍ여주 파사성ㆍ남한산성ㆍ북한산성ㆍ포천 반월산성ㆍ파주 덕진산성ㆍ화성 화량진성의 변화 양상도 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 오산 독산성과 비교하여 조선시대 관방체계의 변화에 따른 입지 및 규모, 성벽의 축성방식, 성벽 관련시설 중 치성과 여장에 대해서 축성사적 관점에서 검토하였다. 더불어오산 독산성의 향후 발굴조사를 진행함에 있어 조선시대 성벽 및 관련시설을 합리적으로 해석할 수 있는지에 대한 방향성도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This paper aims at examining the Osan Doksanseong’s position in the fortress construction history of Joseon by reviewing the construction method of fortress walls and related facilities, such as Yeojang(女墻) and drainage facilities, that have been excavated and investigated so far. Changes in fortresses of Gyeonggi Province, where administration, repair, and renovation in Joseon period were confirmed through excavation, are also examined. The examined fortresses are Anseong Jukjusanseong, Yeoju Pasaseong, Namhansanseong, Bukhansanseong, Pocheon Banwolsanseong, Paju Deokjinsanseong, and Hwaseong Hwaryangjinseong. Based on the review, this paper examines the location and size of the fortresses, the construction method of the fortress wall, and Chiseong(雉城) and Yeojang among the facilities related to the wall according to the change of the military defense system of Joseon in the context of the fortress construction history. Directions are also suggested so that a rational interpretation of the fortress wall of Joseon and related facilities can be made in the future excavation of Osan Doksanseong Fortress.
