유·아동을 위한 샴푸 의자 디자인 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 샴푸 과정에서 두려움을 가지는 아이들이 편안하게 즐길 수 있으며, 양육자에게 도움을 주는 샴푸 의자 디자인 개발을 하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 4D 방법론을 바탕으로 문제 발견(Discover), 아이디어 수립(Define), 핵심 아이디어 도출(Develop), 적용하기(Deliver) 과정을 거쳐 디자인을 제안한다. 또한 성장기의 유·아동을 대상으로 신체 사이즈의 변화, 자세를 분석하고 아이와 함께 성장하는 그로잉형 제품으로 제안하였으며, 머리감기의 사용 공간 조사를 통해 의자의 크기와 안전성을 높였다. 또한 113명의 미취학 유·아동을 육아하고 있는 30~40대 부모, 육아 경험이 있는 조부모를 대상으로 한 설문결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 도출했다. 첫째, 성장 속도가 빠른 아이들의 신체 크기에 맞게 높낮이 및 각도 조정을 가능하게 하여 사용성을 높였다. 둘째, 샴푸 의자에 욕실 계단의 기능을 추가하여 좁은 화장실 공간에서 한 가지 제품이 두 가지 기능을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 셋째, 화장실 공간에 맞게 안전한 사용을 할 수 있도록 설계 하였다. 이를 통해 부모의 신체적 무리를 줄여주고 새로운 머리감기를 지원하는 경쟁력 있는 육아 제품으로 시장의 차별화를 이끌어 낼 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a shampoo chair design that can be comfortably enjoyed by children with fear during the shampooing process and helps caregivers. Therefore, in this study, based on the 4D methodology, a design is proposed through the process of discovering a problem, defining an idea, developing a core idea, and applying it. In addition, it was proposed as a growing-type product, can be transformed according to the child s growth, analyzes the change of body size and posture for infants and children in the growing period and grows with the child, and increased the size and safety of the chair by examining the space used for washing hair. The following results were derived based on the survey results of parents in their 30s to 40s raising 113 preschoolers and parents with parenting experience. First, the usability was improved by enabling height and angle adjustment to suit the body size of children with a fast growth rate. Second, by adding the function of the bathroom stairs to the shampoo chair, one product can function in two ways in a narrow bathroom space. Third, it was designed so that it can be used safely according to the toilet space. Through this, it is expected that it will differentiate the market with competitive child-care products that reduce the physical burden of parents and support new hair washing
