염색위사를 활용한 타월 디자인 연구

국문 초록

최근 개성이 강한 소비자를 중심으로 자신만의 공간을 개성 있게 꾸미려고 하는 소비자들이 증가함에 따라 욕실 공간에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그중 타월은 욕실을 장식하는 중요한 하나의 아이템으로 타월 제품의 구매에 있어 무엇보다 타월의 텍스타일 디자인에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 타월에 관련된 연구들은 직조 방법에 따른 디자인 개발 연구보다는 다양한 소재의 적용연구나 타월 제품에 대한 소비자의 선호도 위주의 연구가 대부분이었다 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 현재 타월의 직조 방법을 변경하여 소비자의 요구를 다양하게 표현할 수 있는 타월 디자인 개발을 위하여 진행되었다. 본 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 시제품 제작을 위한 기초 연구단계로 문헌 조사 및 선행연구의 이론적 조사를 통해 타월 제직 기술에 관한 다양한 연구 사례를 살펴보았다. 또한 현재 판매되고 있는 타월 제품의 고찰을 통하여 문양에 색상을 표현할 수 있는 직조 방법을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 기존의 제직 방법을 개선하고 4 Picks의 테리 직조 방법을 활용한 고급타월 생산을 위한 텍스타일 디자인 개발을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 기존의 경사를 이용한 3 Picks 바듸침의 테리 조직을 염색된 위사를 포함한 4 가닥의 위사가 순차적으로 반복하는 4 Picks 바듸침으로 변경하였다. 4 Picks 직조 방법은 경사빔의 교체 없이 이를 통하여 기존의 경사에 의존한 제직 방식을 변경하고 염색된 위사와 경사의 교차점과 간격을 단계적으로 조절함으로써 시각적인 볼륨감과 밀도감을 높여 고품질의 타월 제품 생산이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Recently, interest in bathroom space has been increasing as interest in residential culture has increased, mainly among consumers with strong personalities. Among them, towels are an important item to decorate the bathroom, and the perception of the textile design of towels is becoming more important than anything else in purchasing towel products. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop a towel design that can express consumers needs in various ways by changing the current weaving method of towels. The contents of this study are as follows: As a basic research step for towel textile design, we explore various research cases on towel-making techniques through theoretical investigations of literature and prior research. A study, examined the method of weaving to colored into patterns through the current towel products. The purpose of this analysis is to improve existing weaving methods and to develop textile designs for high-end towel production using 4 Picks Terry weaving method. The results of this study are as follows: It changed the terry tissue of the existing 3 Picks to 4 Picks, which is sequentially repeated by 4 of the weft yarn, including yarn of dyed. The 4 Picks weaving method is shown to be able to produce high-quality towels by increasing visual volume and density by gradation adjusting the weaving structure and distance a yarn of dyed without replacing the warp beam.
