국문 초록

본 연구는 전자출결시스템과 연결된 예 복습 애플리케이션을 활용하여 ⦁ 학습능률을 향상시키는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 시스템을 구상하였다. 한국과 같은 EFL 환경에서는 학습자들이 수업시간에 학습한 콘텐츠를 이해하고 활용하는데 시⦁공간적인 제약사항이 많기에 외국어 학습의 능률향상에 제약이 따른다. 수업시간에 교수자들이 제시하는 디딤말하기(scaffolding)와 피드백을 강의실이라는 한정된 공간이 아닌 온라인으로 확대하면 환경적인 제약을 제거하여 더욱 효과적인 학습환경을 만들어 낼 수 있을 것이다. 외국어 학습에 있어서 목표언어에 대한 반복적인 노출은 가장 중요한 요인 중 하나라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 온⦁오프라인 수업을 통합하여 학습자들로 하여금 지속적이고 반복적인 학습환경을 제공하여 학습능률을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 영어학습관리 시스템은 학생들이 차시수업을 학습하기 전 단계에 지난 학습내용을 복기하도록 고안되었기에 학습능률향상을 기대할 수 있는 하나의 조건이 될 수 있다고 본다. 현재 전 세계적인 코로나 상황으로 인하여 비대면 온라인 학습의 효율성을 증대하기 위한 다양한 방안들이 연구되어지고 있으며 교수자와 학습자의 상호작용이 제한적일수밖에 없는 온라인 수업환경을 개선하기 위한 다양한 시스템의 개발이 필요하다고 본다.

영문 초록

This study proposes a system designed to enable learners to continuously and repeatedly review class activities by linking the electronic attendance system used in Korean universities and smartphone learning apps to improve learner s learning efficiency. In an EFL English learning environment like Korea, there is a limit for learners to understand and utilize the contents of learning accurately just by attending classes. Therefore, it is difficult to expect improvement in learning efficiency if learners do not prepare and review offline class activity. If the scaffolding and feedback of teachers, which were limited in the classroom environment, are extended to mobile technology-based online learning, positive learning effects can be expected. In the second foreign language, especially in the field of English education, various attempts are being made to develop new and advanced classroom environments for effective teaching and learning by utilizing mobile technology based on information and communication technology. Memorizing the contents of learning through repeated review is an indispensable factor no matter what technology development is applied. As a way to improve the existing electronic attendance system that only checks the attendance status, the proposed system encourages and pushes the learners to actively review last week’s session by linking the electronic attendance system and smartphone learning app. In result, the proposed smart electronic attendance system can substitute the traditional weekly class introduction and force learners to review the contents of the past lessons for attendance approval. The use of new teaching and learning media has the significance of making the learning environment effective for online class that has been forced by the current covid situation.
