간병살인범죄 방지 방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

우리나라도 고령화사회로 접어들면서 치매환자가 계속 늘고 있다. 부모가 치매에걸리면 자식들은 부모를 요양원이나 요양병원에 보내게 되는데, 이러한 시설에 보낼형편이 되지 않는 경우에는 부득이 가족 중 누군가가 치매환자를 간병해야 한다. 가족간병이 장기화되면 간병인은 육체적·정신적으로 점차 지쳐가게 되고 더 이상 간병을할 수 없을 만큼 힘들 경우 간병살인을 하거나 동반자살 등의 극단적인 선택을 하게된다. 간병살인범죄가 발생하는 원인으로는 먼저 노-노 간병인의 경우 중증 치매환자를 홀로 돌보는 것이 정신적·육체적으로 너무 힘들다는 것이다. 특히, 간병인이 치매환자를극진히 모시고 있음에도 불구하고 그 노고를 알아주지 못하거나 피간병인으로부터 심한 욕설이나 폭력을 당할 경우 우발적 살인충동으로 살해하기도 한다. 다음으로 독박간병의 경우 간병이 장기화되면서 다니던 직장도 그만두어 사회적으로 고립되고, 퇴직금 등 모아둔 돈까지 다 소진될 경우 경제적 어려움으로 간병 스트레스가 극에 달하며, 이로 인해 우울증에 시달리다가 결국 간병살인범죄로 이어진다는 것이다. 간병살인범죄 방지를 위한 방안으로 먼저 간병인의 스트레스 감소 프로그램을 개발하여 시행하는 것이다. 다음으로 AI 간병로봇을 개발하여 간병인, 피간병인에게 상시적 말동무가 되어 주어 간병 스트레스를 완화시키는 것이다.

영문 초록

As Korea enters an aging society, the number of dementia patients is increasing. If parents sufer from dementia, their children send their parents to nursing hospitals or nursing homes. If you can t aford to send them to such facilities, someone in your family is forced to take care of them. As family care is prolonged, caregivers gradualy become physicaly and mentaly exhausted. As a result, if it is determined that it is no longer posible to take care of the patients, it wil make extreme choices such as murder of caregivers or murder of companions. In the case of elderly caregivers, it is to dificult mentaly and physicaly to take care of severely dementia patients alone. In particular, if a caregiver fails to recognize his or her hard work even though he or she is extremely devoted to dementia patients, or if he or she is severely abused or asaulted by a caregiver, he or she may be kiled by acidental murder. Next, caregivers who take care of themselves become socialy isolated by quiting their jobs due to prolonged nursing. If the money saved, such as severance pay, is exhausted, the stres of nursing wil be extreme if it is to hard financialy. This causes depresion and eventualy leads to a nursing murder crime. A countermeasure to prevent murder crimes caused by nursing is to first develop and implement a stres-reducing program for caregivers. Next, AI nursing robots are developed to be a constant companion to caregivers and interviewes to relieve the stres of nursing.
