국문 초록

이 연구는 ‘스토리텔링’의 관점에서 미술관 교육의 플랫폼을 설정하고 대학 미술관 전시와 교육의 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. ‘삶과 함께하는 문화예술교육’을 위해 지역사회에서는 대학 미술관 전시 공간의 차별화된 전략이 필요하다. 이에 ‘스토리텔링’이라는 개념을 기반으로 미술관 교육을 디자인하였다. 미술관 전시와 교육에서 이루어지는 스토리텔링은 ‘미술관’이라는 공간에서 주체들이 다양한 활동을 전개하면서 여러 층위의 이야기를 만들어가는 과정이다. 기획자는 기획을 하면서, 작가는 예술 작품을 창작하면서, 도슨트는 스토리텔러로서 작품과 관람자를 매개하면서, 관람자는 적극적인 해석자로서 참여와 소통을 하면서 스토리텔링을 만들어간다. 전시 공간은 관람자의 참여와 소통으로 만들어가는 진행형 공간으로서 ‘지금 여기에서’ 스토리텔링이 진행 중이라는 특성을 가진다. 미술관이 교육적 플랫폼의 역할을 온전하게 수행하기 위해서는 스토리텔링이 역동적이고 상호작용적으로 이루어져야 한다. 이와 관련하여 주체 간 소통을 높이는 스토리텔링 방향과 참여와 공유를 위한 공간 스토리텔링 방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to establish a platform for art museum education from the perspective of “storytelling” intended for university art museum exhibitions and education. For “culture and art education with life”, the local community needs a differentiated strategy for university exhibition spaces. Therefore, art museum education was designed based on the concept of “storytelling”. Storytelling in art museum exhibitions and education is a process in which each subject develops various activities and creates stories on several levels in an art museum. The planner makes a plan, the artist creates a work of art, docent is a storyteller that mediates works to viewers, and the viewer creates storytelling by engaging and communicating as an active interpreter. The exhibition space is an on-going space created by the participation and communication of the viewers, having in which storytelling is in progress “here and now”. Storytelling must be dynamic and interactive for museums to fully fulfill the role of an educational platform. In this regard, we discuss the directions of storytelling to enhance communication among subjects and the directions of spatial storytelling to increase participation and sharing
