국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 새터민의 건강지각, 사회적 지지, 우울과 사회적 적응과의 관계를 확인하기 위함이다. 연구방법은 2011년 3월20에서 6월5일까지 서울시에 거주하고 있는 새터민 147명을 대상으로 하는 서술적 상관관계 분석연구로 연구결과 사회적 적응에는 나이, 거주기간, 북한에서의 교육, 남한에서의 교육, 북한에 있는 가족, 남한에 있는 가족에 따라 차이가 있었으며 건강지각, 사회적 지지, 우울과 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 사회적 적응에 영향을 주는 변수로는 우울, 사회적 지지, 나이, 가족이 남한에 전부 같이 있는 경우, 북한에 가족이 일부 남아 있는 경우였으며, 이 변수들에 의해 53.8%의 설명력이 있었다. 이중 우울이 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 요인이었다. 따라서 새터민의 우울을 줄이고 다양한 사회적 관계망을 통한 지지체계를 확고히 해주며 가족과 같이 생활할 수 있도록 도와주는 것이 남한에서 빠른 사회적 적응을 위한 간호 중재 전략이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose : To identify relation of perceived health, social support, depression and social adaptation of North Korean Defector. Methods : The study design was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Data was collected from March 20 to June 5 of 2011 using structured questionnaires from 147 North Korean defectors from S city in Korea. Results : There were differences in ages, level of education in North Korea & South Korea, residence families in North Korea and South Korea and length of stay in South Korea in social adaptation. The social adaptation was significantly correlated with perceived health, social support and depression. Depression, social support, ages, all families residing in South and partial families residing in North Korea influenced social adaptation and these variables explained 53.8% of the variances. Depression was the most effective factor of all (β = -.559, p < .0001). Conclusions : Helping North Korean Defector lessen their depression and firming up supporting system through social relationship and family will be the nursing intervention strategy for rapid social adaptation in South Korea.
