국문 초록

본 연구는 실내 환경의 물리적 온열 요소들이 재실자의 선택적 주의 기제와 관련된 행동 반응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 공조 시스템의 냉ㆍ난방 가동에 따라 물리적 온열 요소들의 변화를 유도하고, 선택적 주의 기제를 반영하는 시각 탐색 과제를 활용하여 재실자의 행동 반응을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 물리적 온열 환경 요소들 중 온도를 제외한 습도, 평균복사온도와 기류속도가 재실자의 수행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 온도 이외의 다른 요소들을 적절하게 제어할 수 있는 공조 시스템의 개발이 요구됨을 시사하는 것이다. 한편 난방 조건에서는 수행 촉진을 위해 습도의 감소 및 평균복사온도의 증가가 요구되는 반면, 냉방 조건에서는 오히려 평균복사온도의 감소가 요구되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 실내 환경이 간직하고 있는 잠열이 계절에 따라 다르게 유지 및 소멸될 수 있도록 하는 내장재의 개발 역시 요구됨을 시사하는 것이다.

영문 초록

This study examined effect of physical thermal factors in indoor environment on occupant’s behavioral responses associated with mechanisms of the selective attention. For this purpose, the changes of physical thermal factors were induced by the heating and cooling operations of the HVAC systems, and occupant’s behavioral responses were measured using the visual search task reflected mechanisms of the selective attention. As a result, the humidity, mean radiant temperature, and air velocity except the temperature affected occupant’s performances. It is suggested that the development of HVAC systems which other factors except temperature could be appropriately controlled would be required. In addition, reductions of the humidity and increases of the mean radiant temperature were required to promote performances in the heating air condition, but decreases of the mean radiant temperature were required to promote performances in the cooling air condition. It is suggested that the development of interior materials which the latent heat would be maintained or destroyed depending on the season would be required.
