국문 초록

응급실 재원시간은 응급실의 접수에서 응급실에 제공되는 서비스의 최종 종결까지 소요되는 시간으로 이에 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자와 관련된 특성과 응급실에 관련된 특성이 있을 것이다. 응급실 재원시간과 관련된 환자의 특성으로는 일반적으로 환자의 연령, 질환, 중증도, 동반질환 등이다. 특히 응급실 재원시간은 환자의 치료 과정과 관련된 지표로서 응급실에서 제공된 서비스에 대한 활용 및 질 관리 지표로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 지금까지의 의료에 대한 사회적 요구는 주로 양적 확대였으나, 최근에는 질적 충실의 시대로 전환되고 있다.이에 본 연구에서는 응급내원 산부인과 환자관리를 위해 국내 A 종합병원의 응급실 내원환자 자료를 이용하여 응급환자의 특성과 제반요인을 파악하여 응급실 총 경유시간 단축을 위한 기반 정보를 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The time period of hospitalization at emergency center is the time lasting from reception at the center to finalizing services provided at emergency center. The features related to patients and emergency center will have effect on this time period. The patient features related to the time period of emergency center hospitalization are age of patients, diseases, seriousness, accompanying illness and so on. Especially, the time period of emergency center hospitalization is the index related to treatment procedures for patients, and will be used as the index which shows the services and management of quality. While social demand about medical services was quantity maximization until now, recent demand is changed into quality services.This research is to find out features of emergency patients and related factors by using informations of emergency center patients of A hospital for managing Obstetrics and Gynecology patients, and to provide basic information for shortening total periods of emergency center hospitalization.
