국문 초록

본 연구는 합리주의적 관점에서 조직의 문화를 이해하고 다른 문화권을 배경으로 이미 실행되었던 과거의 연구를 바탕으로 국내의 특정조직구성원들의 네트워킹행위(networking behavior)와 조직생활성과(career outcomes)와의 관련성을 성별에 따라 비교 연구함으로써 국가간 조직문화의 차이점과 유사성을 밝히고자한다. 집단간의 행태를 비교하기 위해서는 적절한 방법론적인 접근이 요구됨에 따라 모형간의 비교를 위해서 우도비율(log-likelihood ratio)을 생산할 수 있는 모형의 설정이 필요하다. 따라서 종속변수가 리커트 척도와 같은 순차적 다분변수일 경우 사용되는 방법으로 서열프로빗모형(ordered probit model : OPM)을 설정하였다. 이 연구결과가 다국적화된 호텔조직의 효율적인 경영과 종사원의 인적관리에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand organization culture at rationalism perspectives and explore the difference and similarity of organization cultures between nations by cross-cultural study especially, focused on the gap between gender. This paper referred to foreign study about the impact of networking behavior of organization s members on their career outcomes. Because a appropriate methodology were required for behavior comparison between groups that is a final goal of this study, Log-likelihood ratio which is proper for this study was tested applying Ordered Probit Model(OPM). As we anticipated, the gap between different cultures respondents belong to found out. This research is expected to be a big help for efficient operation of hotel organization and human resources management
