국문 초록

본 연구는 일본과 유럽의 EPA가 우리나라에 미치는 영향관계를 산업별로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 유럽과 한국 사이의 FTA가 없다는 가정을 두고 일본과 유럽의 EPA의 효과를 보았다. 분석결과, 전반적으로 한국 경제에 음(-)의 효과를 주는 것으로 나타났고 이는 상식적인 예측과 일치를 보였다. 다음으로는 한국과 유럽의 FTA가 존립하고 유럽과 일본의 EPA의 영향을 분석한 결과, 대표 대리인(representative agent)의 복지(welfare)에는 음의 영향을 단기, 장기로 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 생산의 측면을 보았더니, 우리나라에 유리한 부분과 불리한 부분으로 나뉘어 나타나는 것으로 발견되었다. 더구나, 양(volume)적 측면에서는 오히려 증가로 나타나는 부분도 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 한국에서 증가한 산업은 직물의류, 화학, 자동차 부품, 기계 장비 등이 큰 폭으로 생산이 증가하고, 나무, 종이, 금속, 전자장비 산업 등도 소폭 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 생산에 주는 양(+)의 효과에 대한 원인을 규명한 결과, 우리나라 생산단가의 하락, 유럽의 수입의 확대, 우리나라의 기타 지역으로 수출 확대 등에서 그 답을 찾을 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

This research is to analyze the effect of EPA in Japan and Europe to Korea by industry. In order to prove this scenario, we looked at the effects of Japan and Europe’s EPA on the assumption that there is not FTA between Europe and Korea. As a result, it was negative effect in general to Korea economy and this was agreed with the common forecast. Next, the result of analyzing the effect of Europe and Japan’s EPA on the assumption that FTA between Korea and Europe exists was that it was negative effect on the welfare of the representative agent in both short and long-terms. However, by looking at the production side, it was found that there were both positive and negative points to Korea. Moreover, it appeared to be increasing in volume in analysis. The volume of production in fashion textiles, chemistry, automobile components, machine equipment increased greatly and in wood, paper, metal, electronic equipment increased slightly. It was analyzed that the answer could be found in decrease in production costs, Europe’s expansion of import from Korea, increase in exportation to other countries other than Europe as results of the analysis in investigation of the reason for the positive effects towards production.
