관광전공 대학생의 마인트셋과 그릿이 현장실습 스트레스와 진로결정에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 관광전공 대학생들의 현장실습 스트레스 원인을 파악하여 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 심리적 기제인 마인드셋, 그릿과의 영향관계를 고찰하는 것이다. 연구의 표본은 국내 4개 공항, 국내 8개 호텔, 그 외 리조트, 여행사, 컨벤션센타, 크루즈, 카페 등에서 현장 실습 및 인턴을 한 4년제 대학과 2년제 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 284부의 설문을 최종 분석 자료로 활용하였으며, 자료는 SPSS 24 통계프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석과 회귀분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 고정 마인드셋은 그릿의 하위 요인인 노력의 지속성과 흥미의 일관성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한 반면, 성장 마인드셋은 그릿의 하위 요인인 노력의 지속성과 흥미의 일관성에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 그릿의 하위 요인(노력의 지속성, 흥미의 일관성) 중 노력의 지속성은 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성, 과제특성)의 3개 요인에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했지만, 흥미의 일관성은 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할 갈등과 모호성, 과제특성)에 모두 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 마인드셋의 하위 요인(고정, 성장) 중 고정 마인드셋은 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성, 과제특성)에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했고, 성장 마인드셋은 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성, 과제특성)의 3개요인 중 과제특성 요인만 제외하고 역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 관광전공 대학생의 현장실습 스트레스(역할과다, 역할갈등과 모호성, 과제특성)의 3개요인 중 과제특성만 진로결정에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of internship stress on career decision making and examine the impact of mindset and GRIT on internship stress for tourism students. A total of 284 questionnaires were used as the final analysis data using SPSS 24.0 statistical program. The validity of the hypothesis was tested by multiple regression analysis and the results are as follows. First, the direct effects of fixed mindset on perseverance of effort and consistency of interest of GRIT were not significant. On the other hand, there were positively significant correlations between growth mindset and GRIT. Second, perseverance of effort of GRIT had no significant influence upon internship stress(role overload, role conflict & ambiguity, job characteristics). However, consistency of interest of GRIT was significantly and negatively correlated with internship stress (role overload, role conflict & ambiguity, job characteristics). Third, fixed mindset had no significant influence upon internship stress (role overload, role conflict & ambiguity, job characteristics). Growth mindset was significantly and negatively correlated with internship stress (role overload, role conflict & ambiguity), except job characteristics. Finally, it was found that job characteristics among internship stress had significant influence on career decision making negatively for tourism students.
