푸드카빙데코레이션 교육 수강 전과 후의 우울증 변화에 관한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육 수강 전과 후의 우울증의 수준이 변화하는지에 대한 탐색적 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내에 푸드카빙관련 대표적인 기관인 사단법인 한국카빙데코레이션협회에 소속된 교육기관 및 대학교, 고등학교의 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 종단적 연구설계를 통하여 교육을 받기 전과 후에 2회 측정한 결과로 우울증의 변화를 살펴보고자 하였다. 조사기간은 2019년 1월 1일부터 2019년 12월 31일까지 1년간 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육생들의 우울증에 대한 요인분석결과 ‘내적인 부정적 사고에 의한 우울증’과 ‘사회적 관계의 부정적 사고에 의한 우울증’의 2가지 요인이 도출되었다. 둘째, 우울증 모든 항목은 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육을 받은 후 유의한 수준으로 감소하였다. 셋째, 우울증의 수준이 높은 집단과 낮은 집단에 따라서 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육 후에 우울증이 낮아지는 변화량을 살펴본 결과 모든 집단에서 우울증은 낮아지는 것을 확인하였다. 특히, 높은 우울증 집단의 내적인 부정적 사고에 의한 우울증이 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육 후에 상대적으로 크게 감소하였다.

영문 초록

The present study is an exploratory study on changes in the level of depression between before and after taking food carving decoration class. In order to achieve such a purpose, the study surveyed attendees at educational institutions, universities, and high schools affiliated with the KCDA(Korea Carving Decoration Association) which is the representative institution related to food carving in the country. The research period was one year, from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. The results of the study are as follows. First, factor analysis into the depression of food carving decoration trainees drew out two factors - ‘depression as a result of internal negative thoughts toward yourself’ and ‘depression as a result of negative thoughts regarding interpersonal relationships’. Secondly, all items under depression were significantly reduced after taking food carving decoration class. Third, an examination into changes of decreased depression after taking the food carving decoration class depending on whether the group had a high level of depression or a low level of depression confirmed depression was reduced in all groups.
