국문 초록

디자이너에게 요구되는 능력은 스스로 작업을 계획하고 현 상태를 점검, 보완해 나가는 주도성과 그 과정의 문제해결능력이며, 특성화고등학교의 디자인 전공은 위와 같은 성공 역량을 키워주기 위한 교육을 목표로 한다. 프로젝트 학습법은 최소한의 제한 안에서 모든 탐구를 스스로 진행하는 학습과정으로, 학습자가 주도적으로 프로젝트 주제를 탐구해나가는 과정을 통해 주도성, 문제해결능력을 얻을 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 문헌연구와 설문조사를 진행함으로써 특성화고등학교에서 진행되는 패키지 디자인 교육의 현황을 파악하고자 하였으며 연구된 교육 현황을 기반으로 학습자가 새로운 환경에 적응하고 문제를 해결해 나가는 데에 도움이 되는 수업 방안을 개발하고자 하였다. 프로젝트 학습법을 적용시킨 패키지 디자인 수업과정을 도입/안내, 이해/계획, 제작/보완, 평가/피드백의 총 4단계로 나누어 제작하였으며, 효과 검증을 위해 서울 소재의 특성화고등학교에서 수업을 시행하였다. 수업의 실효성 검증을 위해 학생들을 대상으로 만족도와 수업 효과에 대하여 5점 척도로 설문조사를 하였다. 그 결과 수업과정에 대한 전반적인 만족도가 4.47로, 높은 효과성을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

The main ability required to designers is to plan their own work, check and supplement the current status with initiative attitude, and to go through such process is the problem-solving ability. The design major of the specialized high school aims to educate students in order to develop following capabilities. The Project Learning Method is a self-directed learning process that involves all exploration within a minimum limit, allowing learners to gain initiative and problem-solving skills by exploring project topics themselves. In response, this study sought to understand the status of package design education conducted at specialized high schools by conducting literature research and surveys. I also wanted to develop teaching methods that would help learners adapt to new environments and solve problems based on the educational status studied. The package design classes applied with the project learning method were produced in four stages, including introduction/guide, understanding/planning, production/complementation, and evaluation/feedback, and classes were implemented at specialized high schools in Seoul for verification of effectiveness. To verify the effectiveness of the class, students were surveyed on a five-point scale about their satisfaction and effectiveness. As a result, the overall satisfaction with the course was 4.47, which proved to be highly effective.
