산학맞춤형 캡스톤디자인 교육사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 기업과의 산학협력 과정을 캡스톤디자인 교육에 적용하고 산업수요에 맞는 산학맞춤형 아이디어제품 개발을 진행한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 DSS(Dual Support System)학습모형과 학생들의 역량에 맞는 팀(team)편성을 통하여 맞춤형 교육과정의 핵심 역할을 수행하게 함으로써 시너지 효과를 발휘할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 산학협력 연계과제는 기업(CJ프레시웨이, 디자인공학부)과 함께 과제기획과 디자인 개발을 진행하여 산업 현장에서 현실적으로 필요한 실무적인 내용을 디자인교육에 적용하였다. 기업과 대학이 산학협력 인프라를 바탕으로 협력 가능한 방안을 다양한 프로젝트 주제로 진행한 디자인프로젝트실무 수업(주4시간)은 디자인기초능력과 교과목 성취수준, 향상도 등이 개선되어 질적인 우수성을 객관적으로 입증하였다. 디자인 개발과정을 통하여 제작한 창의적인 아이디어(시제품)는 지식재산권으로 등록하여 수익창출(기술료)로 이어졌으며, 산학협력엑스포 등 여러 공모전에 참여하여 대상(장관상)을 수상함으로써 참여자들의 실무역량을 높이는 계기가 되었다. 연구를 통하여 개발한 아이디어제품은 기업실무에 적용하게 되어 기업과 대학 모두가 산학협력의 중요성을 확인하는 계기가 되었으며 캡스톤디자인을 활용한 산학협력과제의 우수사례가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is on the application of the industry-academia collaboration process with corporations on Capstone design education and the execution of development of industry-academia customized idea products appropriate for industrial demands. For this purpose, the study was composed to enable the students to develop synergic effects by executing the core role in the customized educational program through the Dual Support System (DSS) study model and organization of teams appropriate for the capabilities of the students. For the industry-academia collaboration linked project, practical contents realistically necessary in the industrial site were applied to design education by executing project planning and design development with corporation (CJ Freshway and Design Engineering Department). Practical class on design project (4 hours a week) executed by the corporation and the university for the diversified means of collaboration under a wide range of project themes on the foundation of the industry-academia collaboration infrastructure achieved improvements in the basic design capabilities, level of achievement in the subject and the extent of improvement, etc., thereby objectively proving the qualitative excellence. Creative idea (prototype) manufactured through the design development program was led to generation of profit (royalty) through registration as intellectual property right and provided opportunity to enhance the practical work capabilities of the participants by winning the grand prize (award by the government minister) in numerous competitions participated including the Industry-Academia Collaboration Expo, etc. Idea products developed through the study were applied to the practical works of corporation, thereby providing the opportunity for both the corporation and the university to confirm the importance of industry-academia collaboration and is sure to become an outstanding case of industry-academia collaboration project that utilized Capstone design.
