국문 초록

본고는 중국 애니메이션 <나타지마동강세 : Ne zha> 중 캐릭터들의 방어기제 변화를 통한 성숙도를 연구하였다. 문헌 연구를 통해 애니메이션과 캐릭터의 개념을 파악하고 정신분석학을 통해 방어기제를 확인하여 베일런트(Vaillant)의 방어기제에 대한 성숙 위계를 이론적 근거로 애니메이션 서사에서 위험 정보와 안전 정보의 변화를 통해 애니메이션 캐릭터의 성숙도 변화를 파악하였다. 그러므로 캐릭터가 서사 내에서 발전하고 성숙하는 과정을 방어기제의 변화로 구체화하고 체계화하였다. 사례분석을 위하여 최근 극장에서 개봉한 <나타지마동강세>을 선정하여 캐릭터의 인격적 성숙도를 통한 변화를 분석하는 체계를 확립하였다. 캐릭터가 인지하는 상황에 대해 위험 정보와 안전 정보로 구분하고 대응 태도에서 방어기제의 부정과 투사와 이타주의로 구분하였고 이에 따라 방어기제의 성숙도를 파악해 캐릭터의 변화를 체계화하였다. 연구결과 캐릭터가 애니메이션에서 위험 정보와 안전 정보를 모두 지니고 있을 때 방어기제의 성숙도가 높게 나타났지만, 단지 한 종류의 정보만 파악 한 캐릭터의 방어기제 성숙도는 낮았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후에서는 애니메이션의 서사 정보와 방어기제의 관계를 심층적으로 연구하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This paper studied the maturity level of characters by changing the defense mechanisms of characters in the Chinese animation . Through the literature research, the concept of animation and character is identified, and psychological analysis is used to identify defense mechanisms. Recognize changes in narrative by grasping through animated characters. Therefore, the process of character development and maturation in narrative is embodied and systemized by change of defense mechanism. For the case analysis, I selected recently released in the theater and established a system to analyze the change through the personality of the character. The situation perceived by the character was divided into risk information and safety information, and the response attitude was divided into negation, militant and altruism of the defense mechanism. As a result of the study, the maturity of the defense mechanism was high when the character possessed both risk information and safety information. Conversely, the character s defense mechanism maturity is relatively low. Based on these results, we will study the relationship between narrative information and defense mechanism of animation deeply in the future.
