국문 초록

1929년 2월과 5월 도쿄에서 발표된 나카노 시게하루의 「비 내리는 시나가와 역」과 9월 경성에서 발표된 임화의 「우산 받은 요꼬하마 부두」는 동아시아 프롤레타리아 국제주의의 문학적 발현을 보여주는 대표적인 사례로 평가되어왔다. 그런데 같은 해 8월, 조선에서 일본으로 추방당했던 시인 우치노 겐지가 유사한 주제의식을 담은 「조선이여」라는 작품을 발표했던 사실은 이제까지 큰 주목을 받지 못했다. 세 시인의 작품은 주제의식은 물론 구성방식과 시적 수사의 활용에서도 유사한 모습을 보이지만, 동시에 각자의 개성을 오롯이 품고 있어 아류나 모방 관계로 보기 어려운 차별성을 지닌다. 이런 맥락에서 1929년 전후 우치노 겐지의 문학사적 의미망을 복원하는 작업은 1920년대 후반 조선과 일본에서 이루어진 사회주의 운동이 당시 문학장에 새긴 가능성의 구체적 현실태와 그 확장 가능성을 확인하는 소중한 계기로 삼을 수 있다. 이 글의 지향은 한국과 일본 문학사에서 소외되었던 시인 우치노 겐지가 프롤레타리아 시인으로 전환되는 사정을 당시 동아시아 프롤레타리아 국제주의의 발현과 연계하여 살피려는 것이다. 이를 위해 시인이 조선에서 추방당한 이후의 체험이 담긴 작품을 텍스트로 삼되 그 의미의 결을 구체화하기 위해 나카노 시게하루와 임화의 동시기 작품을 대칭적으로 고찰하고자 한다.

영문 초록

「Rainy Shinagawa Station」 of Shigeharu Nakano announced in Tokyo in February 1929 and 「Yokohama Pier which received the umbrella」 of Hwa Im announced in Gyeongseong in September, are representative literary works that embody the internationalism of East Asia s proletariat. However, in August of the same year, Kenji Uchino, a poet who was deported from Joseon to Japan, published a work called 「Joseonyeo」, which contained a similar sense of subject matter. The works of the three poets show similar aspects in terms of subject consciousness, composition style and investigation law. However, the three pieces have their own individuality, which makes them hard to call imitation. In this context, restoring the literary historical meaning of Kenji Uchino around 1929 serves as an opportunity to confirm the influence of the socialist movement in Joseon and Japan in the late 1920s on the literary arena at that time. The article seeks to look into the circumstances of Kenji Uchino s transformation into a proletarian poet, which was not dealt with in the history of Korean and Japanese literature, in conjunction with the manifestation of East Asian proletarian internationalism. To this end, the poet will use a textual work on his experiences after being deported from Joseon. In addition, to embody its meaning, we will consider works by Shigeharu Nakano and Hwa Im symmetrically.
