공감대 형성을 위한 TED식 강연의 적용 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 교양(의사소통역량 관련 과목) 수업에서 TED식 발표를 통한 공감대 형성의 사례를 제시한 후, 이를 말하기 수업에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색한 것이다. 이와 같은 실현을 위하여 본 수업 모형에서는 자신의 삶에서 의미 있는 부분을 중심으로 자아성찰적 글쓰기를 한 이후, ‘자기분석 4H’(Hero, Hard Time, Heritage, Heart)에 적용하여 TED식 발표를 실시하도록 하였다. 그 결과 TED식 발표는 다음과 같이 발표자와 청중 사이의 공감대 형성에 있어서 유의미한 말하기 수업 사례가 되었다. TED식 발표에서 ‘자기분석 4H’ 중 각 분야에 맞게 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자신만의 영웅(Hero)과 같은 삶을 동경한 나머지 자신의 영웅처럼 교사가 되기를 바라는 마음에서 사범대 진학 사례 발표는 청중들의 자존감과 자부심의 향상이라는 공감대를 가져왔다. 둘째, 스티그마 효과(Stigma effect)를 극복하기 위하여 고난의 시간(Hard Time)을 이겨낸 사례 발표는 타인이 자기 자신을 부정적으로 보더라도 나쁜 길로 가지 않고 이를 극복해 갔다는 점에서 청중들과 공감할 수 있었다. 셋째, 고난의 시간을 극복한 후 자신에게 남게 된 유산(Heritage)에 관한 사례 발표를 들으며 청중들은 이들의 아픔을 나누며 같이 눈물을 흘리기도 하였다. 넷째, 내 심장(Heart)은 어디를 향하여 뛰고 있는지에 관한 사례 발표는 미래에 자기 자신이 해야 할 목표를 뚜렷하게 제시하면서 청중들에게 박수를 받으며 공감대를 형성할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 대학에서 의사소통 역량 강화를 위하여 개설된 교양강좌에서는 학생 스스로에게 자아성찰의 방법과 기회를 제공할 필요가 있다. 특히, TED식 발표 수업은 소통과 공감대를 형성할 수 있는 하나의 수업 사례가 될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this thesis is to introduce ‘self-examination’ in liberal arts class of College of Education for students. I try to observe possible expansion of motivation, to understand TED’s concepts and speech(presentation) in liberal arts class. The teacher should be competent. Also teacher is up to that career counseling, guidance counseling for students. Therefore, the research is being made of a new concept in the study of curriculum. It has technical teacher training in the centre of the rationality of ‘reflective thinking’ was adopted in order to overcome limits. This article is trying to realize for pre-service teacher. The Writing is using self-examination and the speech is using TED. The purpose of the number of pre-service students trying to become a teacher, It was reported ‘dream from when they were young’, ‘stable jobs’, ‘around the recommendation(parents, high school teacher, etc)’. Asked the number of College of Education for students. What are you trying to become a teacher to teach? Most students were satisfied, but Asked the number of college students. What are you trying to become a teacher to teach? Most students were satisfied but some students were active elsewhere rather than the subject they choose. Second question, What you trying to become a teacher? How to do understand their s minds, leading to their s act, don’t hurt their’s minds. Pre-service teacher wish to want to be a like a role model teacher, another one don’t want to be like worst teacher. College of Education should provide an opportunity for students that is TED conference self-examination.
