국문 초록

4차 산업혁명의 시대를 맞아 대학 교양 교육은 두 가지 과제를 해결해야 한다. 첫 번째는 인공지능과 다른 인간의 고유한 존재성, 즉 인간의 자아 정체성을 확립하는 일이고 두 번째는 시대적 변화에 발맞추어 대다수 대학의 교육 목표인 융복합적 창의 인재를 양성하는 일이다. 기존의 수업에서 자기소개서는 이력서와 함께 묶여 흔히 취업을 위해 작성하는, 실용적 목적이 강한 글쓰기 형식으로 이해되어왔다. 그러나 본래적 의미에서 자기소개서는 자아를 발견하고 성찰하는, 자기 서사적 성질을 지닌다. 특히 글쓰기 교육의 대상이 되는 대학생들과 같이 자신만의 삶을 정립하는 출발선에 서 있는 인물을 주인공으로 설정한 문학 작품을 접하는 일은 자기 서사의 내·외연을 확장할 수 있다는 점에서 중요하다. 많은 대학들에서 학생들의 창의력 신장을 교육 목표로 설정하고 있음에도 불구하고, 이것을 요구하고 또 기대하기란 어려운 일이다. 필자는 이러한 현상의 원인이 교수자의 수업 방식에 있는 것은 아닐까 자문하면서 대학 글쓰기 교육에서의 리터러시 개념을 재고해 보았다. 리터러시는 ‘읽고 쓸 수 있는 능력’으로 이해될 수 있는데, 이때 일상생활뿐 아니라 글쓰기 수업에서도 리터러시의 기본이 되는 두 축 중 ‘쓰기’는 ‘읽기’에 비해 상대적으로 협소하게 사용되어 온 것에 주목할 필요가 있다. 급격히 변화하는 시대에 맞게, 이제 ‘쓰기’도 문자 텍스트에 한정되었던 과거에서 벗어나 다양한 외연을 가질 필요가 있다. 자기 소개 영상을 글쓰기 수업 텍스트로 활용한 일은 앞선 두 과제를 혁신적으로 융합하였다는 점에서 주목할 필요가 있다. 이러한 탈경계의 지점에서 학습자들의 창의력 신장을 기대해 볼 수 있으며, 기존의 자기 판매적 자기소개서보다 더 명확하게 학습자들이 꿈에 대한 다채로우면서도 명확한 비전을 제시할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

In the fourth industrial revolution, University general class should solve two kinds of task. First one is human being’s unique existence other than artificial intelligence. That is to establish human’s ego identity. Second one is to educate convergence and creative person according to major University’s educative aim following changes of the time. In traditional classes, self-introduction forms have been understood as writing forms with practical purposes, often written for employment and tied together with resumes. In its original sense, the self-introduction form has a self-narrative nature that discovers and reflects on the self. Especially, to meet main character similar with University students who are standing in front of start line establishing their own life through literature is very important to extend their self-narrative internally and externally. Although many universities aim to improve students creativity, it is difficult to demand and expect this. The writer has reconsidered the concept of literacy in college writing education by asking whether the cause of this phenomenon is in the way of teaching. Literacy can be understood as the ability to read and write. It is worth noting that writing, out of the two basic types of literacy, has been used relatively narrowly than reading not only in daily life but also in writing classes. In order to cope with a rapidly changing era, writing now needs to have a different outline from the past, which was confined to texts. To use self-introduction videos as class texts is needed to be focused in that the two tasks were interrelated innovatively. It is expected that the creativity of the learners can be enhanced at the point of this demarcation. Traditional self-introduction forms are written as if selling something. In the future, the writer hopes that self-introduction forms will provide learners a colorful and clear vision of their dreams.
