국문 초록

최근 들어, ‘신천지 예수교 증거장막성전’, ‘기독교복음침례회(구원파)’, ‘하나님의 교회 세계복음선교협회’ 등의 활동이 두드러지게 나타나면서 교회 안팎에서 우려의 목소리들이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 이는 사실, 많은 이들에게 ‘종교(宗敎)’라고까지 인식되고 있는, ‘여호와의 증인’, ‘통일교’ 등이 우리 가까이에서 이미 존재해 왔음을 생각해 볼 때, 단순히 오늘만의 문제는 아닐 것이다. 문제는 이들이 그리스도교와 같은 용어들을 사용하면서, 그리스도교의 핵심 교리를 거부하고, 그 속에 자신들의 주장을 끼워 넣고, 그리스도교 신자들을 향해 다가온다는 것이다. 가톨릭 교회는 종교로 인정될 수 있는 다른 종교에서 발견되는 옳고 거룩한 것은 아무것도 배척하지 않지만, 이들은 그리스도교를 가장(假將)하여 참된 그리스도교 신앙을 이야기하지 않고, 홍보 활동에 있어서도 윤리적이지 못한, 기존 그리스도교 신자들의 신앙관을 바꾸려는 공격적인 태도를 보이기 때문에, 이들을 근본(宗)이 되는 가르침(敎)을 전하는 종교, 혹은 그리스도교 집단 중 하나로 인정할 수 없을 것이다. 단지 ‘자칭 그리스도교’일 뿐이다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본 연구는 최근 성행하고 있는 그리스도교계 이단적 분파 가운데 하나인 ‘하나님의 교회 세계복음선교협회’에 대한 신학적 비판을 목적으로 둔다. ‘아버지 하나님’이라고 불리는 안상홍으로부터 창립되었고 현재는 ‘어머니 하나님’으로 추대되는 장길자를 통해 이루어지는 ‘하나님의 교회’는 최근에도 높은 성장세를 보이고 있다. 하지만 그들의 주장을 살펴보면 그들은 그리스도교 범주 안에서 개신교의 하나의 교단으로 받아들여질 수 없으며, 그리스교에 뿌리를 둔다고 하지만 그로부터 갈라져 나와 자신들만의 이단적 주장을 설파하는 분파라고 볼 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논고는 ‘하나님의 교회’의 주장의 근저에 놓인 생각(특별히 종말론적 사상)은 무엇이며, 그것을 그리스도교 종말론 교의로부터 어떻게 평가할 수 있으며, 따라서 그들의 주장에 현혹되지 않기 위해서는 어떠한 올바른 종말론적 이해가 이루어져야 할지 신학적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 이러한 신학적 성찰의 노력을 통해 ‘하나님의 교회’와 같은 집단의 선동으로부터 가톨릭 교회의 신앙을 보호하는 데 보탬이 되고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목표라 할 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

Recently, activities of “Shin-Cheon-Ji Christ Witness Temple”, “Christianity of Gospel Baptist (salvation sect)”, “The Word Mission Society Church of God” are noticeable. The worrying voices are increasing in the Church internally and externally. But, in fact, when we think of “Witness of God” and “the Unification Church”, which are perceived as to ‘religion’, they already existed near us. It is not just the simple current problem. The problems are that these people are using the same terminology those of Christianity’s, are denying Christianity’s core dogma, are inserting their arguments, and are approaching to the Christian faithful. The Catholic Church does not exclude any rightness and holiness that are found in other acknowledged religion. But these people pretend to be Christians, do not tell about the true Christianity faith, and show unethical attitudes in public relations to change existing Christian faith. So, it cannot be acknowledged as to ‘religion’, which is telling the teaching about the root of truth, or as to one of the Christianity Community. They just call themselves as to Christianity. From such a context, this study aims theological criticism on “The Word Mission Society Church of God”, one of the currently prevailing Christianity heretical sect. This sect was founded by Ahn Sahng-hong who is called as to ‘God the Father’. At present, through Jang, Kil-ja, who is positioned as to ‘God the Mother’, is showing high growing trend in recent times. But, when we examine their assertions, they cannot be accepted as to one of the denominations of Protestantism within the scope of Christianity. Even though they are based on Christianity root, but they have diverged from Protestantism. They can be seen as to one sect with their own heretical assertions. Therefore, this study considers what “The Word Mission Society Church of God” basic assertions (especially eschatological thought) are, how to evaluate that from the point of Christianity eschatology dogma, and how to make the right understanding of eschatology is not to be blinded from their assertions. Through these theological introspection efforts, the goal of this study is to be an aid to protect the faith of Catholic Church from the incitement of the groups such as “The Word Mission Society Church of God”.
