비인가 대안학교 구성원이 인식하는 대안교육의 성공요인에 대한 개념도 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 비인가 대안학교 구성원이 인식하는 대안교육의 성공요인을 알아보기 위해 개념도 연구법(concept mapping method)을 활용하였으며 이를 기초로 대안교육의 성공요인에 대한 중요도와 실행수준을 알아보았다. 5년 이상의 비인가 대안학교 구성원 10명을 대상으로 연구를 진행한 결과, 비인가 대안학교 구성원이 인식하는 대안교육의 성공요인은 ‘대안적 가치–현실구현’ 차원, ‘심리적 동력–사회적 동력’ 차원으로 구성되었으며 변화에 대한 개방성, 교육 주체의 헌신과 유대감, 대안적 교육 철학의 발현, 사회적 연대 실천, 교육과 삶의 합치성 추구, 건강한 민주적 공동체 문화 6개의 군집으로 분류되었다. 이에 대한 중요도와 실행 수준 평정 결과 가장 큰 편차를 보인 범주로 ‘건강한 민주적 공동체 문화’였으며 가장 높은 일치를 보인 범주로는 ‘대안적 교육 철학의 발현’이었고 중요도와 실행 수준이 모두 낮은 범주로는 ‘사회적 연대실천’이었다. 본 연구는 대안교육이 추구하는 대안적 가치가 현실 구현으로 일치하고자 하는 대안학교 구성원의 의지를 개념적 구조로 밝히는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the success factors of the Non-alternative school, which is recognized by Non-alternative school members using the concept mapping method. For this purpose, 10 Non-alternative school members were interviewed and the transcripts were analysed. The success factors of the alternative education recognized by the Non-alternative school members were classfied into six clusters. Six clusters were named as openness to change, commitment and enthusiasm of educational subjects, manifestation of alternative educational philosophy, practice of social solidarity, pursuit of coexistence of education and life, healthy democratic community culture. In addition healthy democratic community culture was the category with greatest deviation as a result of the assessement of importance and level of practice, and manifestation of alternative educational philosophy was the category with the highest harmonization, and the category with both lower importance and level of practice was practice of social solidarity . Finally, the results of this study are discussed and suggestions for limitations and follow-up studies are presented.
