미혼남녀의 결혼에 관한 가치관이 결혼의향에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 미혼남성과 여성의 결혼의향의 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 한국보건사회연구원의 ‘2015년 전국 출산력 및 가족보건·복지실태조사’를 활용하여 연구대상자 1,884명을 선정하여 분석하였다. 로지스틱 회귀분석에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 미혼남성의 경우 결혼의향에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 연령이 낮을수록, 실업의 경제상태가 아닐수록, 결혼식 관례에 찬성할수록, 자녀에 대한 심리적·사회적 가치에 찬성할수록, 출산의지가 높을수록 결혼의향에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 미혼여성의 경우 연령이 낮을수록, 교육수준이 낮을수록, 자녀의 심리적 가치에 찬성할수록, 출산의지가 높을수록 결혼의향에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 동거관은 출산의지에 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 결혼의향을 높이기 위해서 성불평등 완화 및 남성의 적극적 일과 가정의 양립을 위한 사회적 변화의 필요성 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to identify factors influencing marriage intention of unmarried men and women. A total of 1,884 subjects were selected and analyzed using the 2015 National Survey of Fertility and Family Health and Welfare of the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. The results of the logistic regression analysis are as follows. In the case of unmarried men, it was found that the factors affecting the intention to marry had a positive effect on the lower age, the economic status of unemployment, to approve of traditional wedding customs, the more positive the psychological·social value of the child, the stronger the childbirth volition. In the case of unmarried women, it was found that the factors affecting the intention to marry had a positive effect on the lower age, the lower the level of education, the more positive the psychological value of the child, the stronger the childbirth volition. And the value of cohabitation was found to have a full mediation effect on childbirth volition. In order to increase the intention of marriage, it is necessary to provide policy support for the reconciliation of work and family, also social support for reducing gender inequality is needed for women.
