포드주의적 축적체제에서 노동사회의 위기에 대한 기독교윤리적 연구

국문 초록

  본 논문에서 필자는 우선 브레튼우즈 체제가 확립되면서 관리된 금응체제, 단체교섭제도, 경영자 지배구조 등의 조절양식으로 짜여진 포드주의척 축적체제를 분석하고, 거기서 나타나는 노동 문제들을 주로 노동 소외, 소외된 소비, 자본과 노동 간 소득배분의 블완전성, 노동시장 분단 등에 초점을 맞추어 분석하였다. 그 다음, 필자는 포드주의 축적체제가 1960년대 말에 위기에 처하기 시작하여 1970년대 중반에 해체된 까닭을 분석하면서 노동 문제들이 어떻게 악화되어 갔는가를 살펴보았다. 이와 관련해서는 자본의 한계생산성 둔화 문제와 노동 소외를 보상하는 데서 비롯된 높은 임금상승 압력 등 포드주의적 축적체제에 고유한 자본축적 위기를 분석하고, 이에 대응하기 위해 자본이 선택한 전략, 곧 노동합리화와 생산기지 이전, 국제적 노동공정 분할 등을 분석하였다. 더 나아가 브레튼우즈 체제가 붕괴하면서 은행 중심의 관리된 금응체제가 붕괴되면서 경영자 지배구조와 케인즈주의 국가 등 포드주의적 축적 체제를 구성했던 조절장치들이 마비될 수밖에 없었음을 분석하였다. 끝으로, 필자는 노동하는 인간의 주체성과 전인성, 노동의 사회성, 정의, 돈벌이 노동과 생활 활동의 상호보완성, 욕망충족의 자기제한성 등 기독교윤리의 원칙들에 입각하여 포드주의적 축적체제의 성립과 해체과정에서 나타난 노동 문제들에 대해 판단하고 평가하였다. 이러한 기독교윤리적 판단과 평가는 포드주의적 축적체제에서 노동 문제들을 해결하는 방안을 제시한다든가, 포드주의적 축적체제 이후를 내다 보면서 노동사회의 구체적 대안을 제시하는 일과 직접 맞물려 있는 것은 아니지만, 포드주의적 축적체제 이후의 노동사회를 규율하는 데 참고할 만한 실마리를 찾는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

  In this article I have analyzed in the first step the fordistic accumulation regime. It has stood on the collective bargaining system, the managemental governance and the state-regulated finance system, which has been reinforced under the Bretton Woods system. I have paid attention to the labor problems, which came from the fordistic accumulation regime, namely, extremity of labor alienation, extravagance of alienated consumption, unsufficiency of income distribution between labor and capital, division of the labor market etc.   In the second step I have surveyed how the fordistic accumulation regime came into crisis and was compelled to be dismontaged. I have analyzed the accumulation crisis, which was intrinsic of the regime, that is, the discreasing tendency of the marginal productivity of capital and the pressure of wage evacuation etc. In order to overcome the accumulation crisis, the capitalits have selected various strateges of labor rationalization, capital exportation, lean-production and global outsourcing. It means that the labor problems have been worsened in the dismontage process of the fordistic accumulation regime, which was irreversible after the collapse of the Bretton Woods System and the state-regulated finance system.   At the last step I have attempted to evaluate and judge the labor problems in the light of the christian-ethical principles for a human and social formation of work and labor: respect on the personality and integrity of worker, communality of work, justice as correct relationship, complimentality of wage labor and work as life activity, restriction to satisfaction of essential needs.   I think that such an ethical evaluation and judgement of the labor problems must be distinguished from some concrete proposals to solving the labor problems, but it can give some suggestions how people can regulate the labor society in the post-fordistic era.
