물류성과가 국가경쟁력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

물류성과지수를 기준으로 한 국가의 물류성과가 국가경쟁력에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 국가 경쟁력 향상을 위한 물류 측면에서의 전략적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 세계은행의 물류성과지수(통관, 인프라, 국제운송, 물류 역량, 화물추적시스템 및 적시성)를 독립변수로 하고 세계경제포럼의 국가경쟁력지수(기본 요소, 효율성 증진 요소 및 혁신과 정교화 요소)를 종속변수로 하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 통관, 인프라 및 화물추적 시스템과 같은 물류성과가 국가경쟁력에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한 국가의 물류성과는 단순히 무역 및 물류 등에만 제한적으로 영향을 미치는 것이 아니라 국가 전체의 경쟁력을 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 그 영향력이 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 세계 각 국가가 자국의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 다양한 방안을 모색하고 있는 상황에서 장기적인 국가 경쟁력 제고를 위한 방안으로 무엇보다 물류성과의 향상, 물류 효율성 개선, 물류 경쟁력 제고가 우선되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose : We analyze the impact of logistics performance based on logistics performance index on national competitiveness, and suggest strategic implications for logistics to improve national competitiveness. Research design, data, methodology : To analyze the impact logistics performance(customs, infrastructure, international shipping, logistics competence, tracking and tracing, and timeliness) of the World Bank on the global competitiveness(basic requirements, efficiency enhancers, and innovation and sophistication factors), multiple regression analysis was performed. Results : Logistics performance such as customs, infrastructure, tracking and tracing had a significant positive impact on national competitiveness. Conclusions : The logistics performance of a country not only has a limited impact on trade and logistics but also has a great impact on national competitiveness as a whole. In the situation where countries around the world are looking for various ways to enhance their competitiveness, improvement of logistics performance, logistics efficiency and logistics competitiveness should be given priority as means to enhance the national competitiveness in the long term.
