국문 초록

본 연구는 국내시장에 설립된 다국적기업 자회사 국제화 속도에 따른 포트폴리오 구성전략과 경영성과 비교연구이다. NICE평가정보(주)의 Kis Value 자료를 바탕으로 2006년부터 2017년까지 국내시장에 진입한 외국인 투자법인 정보를 활용했다. 분석에 활용한 전체표본 수는 1,237개다. 첫째, 기업 경영성과 변수인 ROA와 매출액 요인에 대한 비교분석에서는 점진적 속도의 전통적 국제화기업이 급진적 속도의 본-글로벌 기업보다 상대적으로 높은 수준의 경영성과를 갖는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 결과는 다국적기업 자회사의 국내시장 진입 국제화 속도와 경영성과 변수 간에 부(-)의 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 확인된다. 둘째, ROA와 국제화 속도별 영향요인 비교분석에서는 종업원 수, 자산요인은 정(+)의 영향 관계로 조사되었고, 자본, 부채 요인은 부 (-)의 영향 관계로 조사되었다. 추가로 전통적 국제화기업에서 연구개발비 요인이 부(-)의 요인 으로 조사되었으며, 기업 나이와 투자비율요인은 유의미한 값을 갖지 못했다. 셋째, 매출액과 국제화 속도별 영향요인 비교분석에서는 종업원 수와 자산요인이 정(+)의 요인으로 조사되었고, 부채 요인은 부(-)의 영향요인으로 조사되었다. 추가로 전통적 국제화기업에서 투자비율은 정 (+)의 영향요인으로 자본 요인은 부(-)의 영향 관계로 조사되었으며, 기업 나이와 연구개발비 요인은 유의미한 값을 갖지 않는 것으로 조사되었다.

영문 초록

Purpose : This study is to compare the impact of speed of internationalization on business performance of MNC s subsidiaries. Research design, data, methodology : The multiple regression method is used to analyze the business performance of foreign MNC s subsidiaries which in Korea between 2006 and 2017. The influence factors of business performance are eight variables which are the speed of internationalization, firm age, investment ratio, number of employees, R&D cost, capital, assets, debt. Results : First, the traditional internationalization firms are surveyed with a relatively high level of business performance compared with the born-global firms. These results show that there is a negative(-) effect between the speed of internationalization of MNCs Subsidiaries entry into the Korean domestic market and the business performance variable. Second, in the comparative analysis of factors affecting business performance(ROA) according to the speed of internationalization, the number of employees and assets were a positive(+) effect, and capital and debt factors were a negative(-) effect. In addition, the R & D cost is examined as a negative(-) effect in traditional international speed firms. Third, in the comparative analysis of factors affecting business performance(total sales) according to the speed of internationalization, the number of employees and assets were a positive(+) effect, and debt factors are a negative(-) effect. In addition, the investment ratio is examined as a positive(+) effect and the capital is negative(-) effect in traditional international speed firms. Conclusions : The results of this study will provide policy direction for attracting foreign MNC s subsidiaries. It will contribute to the follow-up study on the speed of internationalization and the business performance of multinational subsidiaries.
