영문 초록

This study aimed to help in preventing marital conflict and enhancing satisfaction of married migrant women. Researches on marital satisfaction were reviewed and 240 married migrant women living in Gwangju were surveyed. Research results are as follows. Marital satisfaction was significantly different based on nationality, Korean language ability level and monthly income in married migrant women. Marital conflict was significantly different based on nationality, educational attainment level, marriage motive, Korean language ability level and monthly income in married migrant women. Marital conflict factors showed negative correlation with the martial satisfaction. Factors like economic conflict and sexual dissatisfaction conflict appeared to have the largest influences to the marital satisfaction. Therefore, in order to enhance the marital satisfaction of married migrant women, it is necessary that systematic Korean education program should be suited to Korean real life situations and training program on communication, acquisition of skills, employment linkage, and raising couple intimacy should be developed.
