영문 초록

This article deals with overview of archive documents concerning history of Russia-Korea relations in the middle of 19th century-1930th. Archive funds carry documents about first Korean migrants, mass crossing of the border and settling down in Russia, their number, places of settlement, economic activity, role of Korean political refugees in anti-Japanese liberation movement. There are records of foundation of Korean societies and schools, publication of newspapers, religious activity. Documents also cover questions about legal status of Korean migrants. Funds of Soviet period keep records of collectivization among Koreans, organization of Korean kolkhozes, eradication of illiteracy, social and cultural development of Koreans, and their forcible deportation to the Central Asia in 1937. Brief overview of the Archive records brings to conclusion that funds of the Russian State Historical Archive in the Far East are of great interest for comprehensive study of various aspect of international relations, ethnic uniqueness of Korean Diaspora in the Far East and will be of help in writing objective history of relations between two nations.
