국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생의 종단적인 비행변화와 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하기 위해 경기교육종단연구(Gyeonggi Education Panel Study, 이하 GEPS)의 1-3차년 자료를 활용하여 이루어졌다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 컨닝은 초등학생에게 가장 많이 나타나는 비행유형이다. 시험스트레스 완화가 초등학생의 컨닝 감소에 영향을 줄 것이다. 둘째, 우울, 불안 그리고 부모의 양육태도가 모든 비행에 영향을 주었다. 학생 심리상태의 안정적 지원과 가정의 관심과 지도가 청소년 비행에 중요한 역할을 하는 것임을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 건전한 시민의식 교육이 초등학생비행을 감소시키는 효과가 있음을 보여주었다. 이를 위한 학교의 노력이 필요하다. 넷째, 학교인권이 긍정적으로 조성되면 비행을 감소시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 학생들의 인권이 보장되는 학교를 만드는 노력이 요구된다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 실천적 함의와 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This research utilizes the data provided by the Gyeonggi Education Panel Study (GEPS) collected over a course of three years in order to analyze the longitudinal shift of acts of delinquency among elementary school students. Results are as follows: First, the most frequently occurring delinquency among elementary school students is cheating during exams. In order to discourage this activity, a method to reduce examination stress needs to be developed. Second, in all of the noted delinquent acts, depression, insecurity, and the parental situation had a major influence. It can be concluded that the student’s psychological state and the family relationship vis-a-vis the child play major roles in delinquent acts. Third, civil education provided at school level had an influence in discouraging delinquent acts. Fourth, a positive direction for human rights results in a school with a lower number of delinquent acts. Therefore, building a school where the rights of the students are protected is a major necessity in which educational organizations need to invest. Based on these results, practical strategies are proposed and a few limitations in realistically carrying out the research are discussed.
