국문 초록

2015 교육과정에서 미술교과역량은 시각적 소통능력, 창의･융합능력, 미적 감수성, 미술문화이해능력, 자기주도적 미술학습능력으로 5가지를 제시하고 있다. 그러나 교과서 중심의 공식적인 교육과정이 존재하는 학교 수업 안에서의 수업만으로는 이러한 역량을 향상시키는데 한계가 있다. 이에 연구자는 일차원적이고 추상적인 내용을 학습하는 학교와 달리 직접적이고 다중감각적인 활동을 할 수 있는 미술관 교육을 제안하고자 한다. 미술관교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 구성주의 이론을 이해하고, 구성주의를 활용한 미술관교육의 필요성을 제시한다. 또한 현재 변화하고 있는 미술관교육을 전통적 미술관과 신 박물관학을 기반으로 한 미술관교육으로 비교하여 논의한다. 따라서 ʻ찾아라! 우리 동네ʼ 프로젝트에서는 신 박물관학을 기반 으로 지역연계를 강조한 미술관교육 8차시 프로그램을 개발하여 초등학교 1, 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 연구를 시행한다. 이후 프로그램의 결과물과 사전, 사후 설문지 분석을 통해 다음의 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 신 박물관학에 근거한 미술관교육 프로그램으로서 학생들의 개인적 맥락, 물리적 맥락, 사회문화적 맥락의 상호작용을 일으키는 데 효과적이다. 학생들은 세 가지 맥락을 통해 풍부한 경험을 가졌으며, 이는 학습으로 이어졌다. 둘째, 학생들은 수업이 진행됨에 따라 자기주도적으로 학습에 참여하였으며, 습득한 지식을 자신만의 작품으로 표현하였다. 셋째, 학생들은 학교에서 이루어지는 교사중심의 일방적인 이론교육의 수업에서 벗어난 관람객 중심의 상호작용을 통한 경험중심의 미술관교육에 대한 긍정적 감정과 흥미를 갖게 되었다. 또한 프로젝트 수업을 통해 학생들의 뮤지엄 리터러시와 창의･융합능력이 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

2015 curriculum suggests the visual communicability, creativity･fusion ability, aesthetic sensitivity, art culture understanding, and self-directed art learning ability as the art subject capability. However, it is difficult to improve these competencies only by the class in the school class that the textbook-oriented official curriculum exists. Hereby, the researcher would suggest the museum education facilitating the direct and multi-sensory activities unlike the school where students learn the one-dimensional and abstract contents. It is necessary to understand the constructivism theory to develop the museum education program, and to suggest the necessity of the museum education using the constructivism. Also, the currently changing museum education is compared with the traditional museum and the museum education based on new museology. Therefore, ʻFind! our villageʼ project develops the museum education 8-session program which emphasized the regional connection based on new-museology and does research targeting 1st and 2nd-year students in elementary school. Afterwards, following results were drawn through the result of program and the advance/post questionnaire analysis. First, it is the museum education program based on new-museology, which is effective in bringing about the interaction of the personal context, physical context, and sociocultural context of students. Students had abundant experiences through 3 contexts, which led to learning. Second, students participated in learning in a self-initiated way as the class proceeds and expressed the acquired knowledge into their own work. Third, students had the positive emotion and interest in the experience-oriented museum education through the visitor-oriented interaction away from the teacher-oriented unilateral theory education class done in school. Also, it was confirmed through the project class that the museum literacy and the creativity･fusion ability of students were improved.
