국문 초록

본고에서는 문화접촉을 통해 문화변용으로 나아가는 과정들 중 무엇보다도 문화접촉 현장 속에서의 인간의 반응에 중점을 두고 있다. 우리는 문화접촉의 다양한 양상들을 뉴스와 여러 인터뷰 등을 통해 접하고 있다. 여기서는 소설에서 표현되는 작중인물들의 문화접촉 현장 속에서의 반응을 문화접촉을 경험한 사람들에 의한 문학 속에서 찾는 것이며, 곧 문학작품 속에서 작중인물의 정서적 지표들이 구현되는 양상들을 통해서 고찰하고 있다. 문화접촉에 의한 문화변용, 문화충격, 문화접변의 현상들은 보다 상이하다고 여겨지는 문화권들의 접촉지대 에서 보다 더 시각적으로 인식적으로 관념적으로 탐색이 가능할 것이다. 문화접경지역에 있는 화인들이 캐나다에 이주한 뒤 경험한 여러 문화적 경험들이 어떻게 작중인물에게 투영되어 나타나는지, 이들의 심리적 정서적 상태에 대한 고찰이 연구의 핵심이 된다.

영문 초록

This article focuses on the characters response in the field of cultural contact, among other processes that move toward cultural transformation through cultural contact. We are exposed to various aspects of cultural contact through news and interviews. Here, we are looking for the reaction of the characters in the novel in the context of cultural contact, in the literature by people who have experienced cultural contact, and the emotional indicators of the characters in literary works. The phenomenon of cultural transformation, cultural shock, and cultural contact by cultural contact will be more visually perceptually and ideologically searched than in the contact zones of cultures considered to be different. The study of the psychological and emotional status of the cultural experiences of the Chinese who have arrived in Canada after the immigration of the Chinese in the cultural border region is the core of the study. Through the eyes and ears of 16 writers, we can see that the cultural contact scene that we can observe was a process that was confusing and fierce, but it was a process of seeking for personal happiness. However, the narrative of literature is inseparable from the narrator of the writer, and even if the creation of the person has a great deal of fiction, it is difficult to deny that the material and the psychological originated from the experience and experience of the individual. Therefore, various aspects of emotional and psychological conditions have been observed in the literary works through the emotional indicators of the characters. These results show that the phenomenon of cultural transformation, culture shock, and cultural contact and it can be explored more meaningfully than in the contact zones of cultures considered to be different.
