영문 초록

This research was focused on exploring of a model for improvement of teaching on Practical Arts Subject. To do this study, two methods of direct survey and literate review were employed. The survey data were collected from 212 elementary school teachers who lived in Gyeongsang-namdo and analyzed the data with SPSS/PC+ program. The statistics used for the analysis were frequency. The following three major results were obtained from this study: 1. The effective teaching methods applicable to practical arts education are the individualized instruction, synectics instruction, and discussion instruction. 2. The most popular teaching-method used by elementary school teachers was focused on the practice. 3. Through this study. I have developed a new teaching model focusing on practice, and the new model was consisted of four step procedures. An effective practice can efficiently be obtained by checking and feedback control, which is the most important characteristic of this model.
