국문 초록

본 연구는 한국사회에 있어서 노인문제가 사회문제화함을 인식하고 노년기에 나타나는 사회적 관계의 변화에 따라 발생하는 다양한 노인문제의 해결방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 노인에 대한 인식 전환이 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 아동에서부터 청소년, 성인에 이르기까지 노인에 대한 교육 및 프로그램이 필요하다. 국가와 지방자치단체는 물론 관련 기관 및 단체는 구성원에 대한 교육이 절실한 입장이다. 둘째, 노인에 대한 부정적 인식을 제거해야 한다. 노인은 모두 가난하고 병들고 역할이 없는 비생산적 인구라든가 의존적 복지수혜대상자로만 여기는 사회의 시각은 바뀌어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 국가와 민간의 상호보완관계를 정립해야 한다. 다양한 욕구에 대해서는 민간이 주도적 역할을 하고 국가가 이를 보완 또는 후원하는 노력을 해야 한다는 것이다. 결론적으로 노년기에 맞이하는 사회적 관계의 변화는 노인에게는 충격적으로 다가올 수 있으며, 이는 노인문제가 아닌 사회문제임에 착안하여 포괄적인 해결방안을 수립하여야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is to recognize the problem of the elderly in the Korean society and to suggest ways to cope with the various problems of the elderly caused by the change of social relationships in the old age. Looking at the results, first, it is necessary to change the perception of the elderly. This requires education and programs for the elderly, from children to adolescents and adults. In addition to national and local governments, related organizations and organizations are in a position to educate their members. Second, the negative perception of the elderly should be removed. All the elderly people should change the viewpoint of the society that thinks that they are all poor, sick, unproductive, unproductive population or dependent welfare beneficiaries. Third, complementary relationships between the state and the private sector should be established. For the various needs, the private sector plays a leading role and the state should make efforts to supplement or support it. In conclusion, the change of social relationships in the old age can be shocking for the elderly, and it should be set as a total comprehensive solution for the elderly.
