‘단군신화’에 나타난 美意識 연구

국문 초록

단군신화는 한민족韓民族이 지니고 있는 집단 무의식의 원형을 읽어내는 소중한 자료이며, 시에 현대 다문화사회에 적용할 수 있는 보편적 가치 기준을 확보함으로써 다른 민족, 다른 문화와의 효과적인 소통과 융합을 이끌어내는 지표로 작용할 수 있다. 이 논문은 단군신화를 분석하여 그 속에 잠재된 미의식을 찾아내고, 그러한 미의식이 우리 민족 고유의 정서에 어떻게 녹아 있으며, 나아가 현대 다문화사회에 보편적으로 수용될 수 있는 심미적 가치로 확대될 수 있는지를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 단군신화에 나타난 미의식을 분석하기 위해서는 두 가지 방향으로 나누어 접근할 필요가 있다. 첫째, 단군신화의 내용 자체가 드러내는 미의식을 찾을 수 있어야 하고, 둘째, 신화의 근저에 깔려 있는 세계관과 인간에 대한 이해를 통해 우리 선조들이 지향하고 있는 미의식이 무엇인지를 검토할 수 있어야 한다. 결과적으로 단군신화 자체가 보여주는 대표적인 미감은 ‘숭고미’로 정리할 수 있고, 단군신화가 토대로 하고 있는 우리 민족 전통의 세계관과 인간관에서는 ‘조화미’와 ‘일체미’를 발견할 수 있다. 홍익인간, 재세이화의 이념은 우리 민족에게만 국한된 것이 아니라 전 인류에 공통적으로 적용할 수 있는 보편적 가치가 되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 민족이라는 개념을 혈연에만 국한시키지 말고 문화 전반에 대한 것으로 확장할 필요가 있다. 비록 혈연적 관계로 맺어진 것이 아니라 하더라도 우리의 정서와 문화, 그리고 생활 전반에 걸쳐 동일한 공통분모를 가지고 있다면 ‘우리’의 범주에 포함시킬 수 있는 넓은 포용력이 필요하다. 그것이야말로 대립과 투쟁을 통한 한 방향의 통일성이 아니라 조화에 바탕한 일체미를 실현하는 것이며, 단군신화에 내재된 본질적 의미를 살리는 길이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Dangun-myth is precious data which reads out the original form of collective unconscious that Han-ethnos has, and at the same time, it can act on indicator which draws effective communication and fusion with different nationality and culture by securing standard of universal value which can apply to multicultural modern society. The purpose of this paper is to research potential aesthetic consciousness from Dangun-myth and to examine how such aesthetic consciousness is molten in inherent sentiment of our nationality, and furthermore, it can be expanded into esthetic value which can be accepted generally to multicultural modern society.To analyze aesthetic consciousness expressed in Dangun-myth, we need to access to two courses. First, we can look for esthetic consciousness which content itself of Dangun-myth presents; second, we should examine what is aesthetic consciousness at which our ancestors aim through understanding of the world view and human which forms the foundation of mythology. Consequentially, we can organize that typical esthetic sense which Dangun-myth itself shows is sublimity, and we can find out harmonious aesthetics and unitive it in world view and view on human of tradition of our nation on which Dangu-myth bases. The Hongik-Ingan(弘益人間: the extension of human welfare and harmony) philosophy, Jaese-Ihwa(在世理化: the going well beings by reasoning in the world) should be not only limited to our nation but also universal values which is applied to whole mankind in common. To achieve this, it does not limit “nation” to blood ties, it need to extend to whole culture. Even though it is not establish blood, if it has relations, our affectivity, culture, and a common denominator throughout living, catholicity which can subsume under ‘our’ category need. It is not one-sided unity through conflict and struggle, but to realize unitive aesthetics which is based on harmony, it is to be the way that conveys essential meaning which is inherent in Dangun-myth.
