한국의 서동셜화와 몽골의 ‘염소를 탄 장부’ 설화의 서사구조 상관성에 대한 버교 고찰

영문 초록

This study provides a comparison of the εpic talεs ‘ SeoDong’ from Korea, ‘The man on the goat’ om Mongolia and the Sharman song ‘SamGongPullee’ om Jejudo. The talεs ‘SeoDong’ and ‘The man on the goat are, in their original form, about the marriage of the main male character and the coronation of a hero. Later on, the 떼es evolved to become folk tales. 80th of these stories contain an element of suffering. The heroine first suffers but later acquires a vast fortune. The tales also address the desire to raise one’s social status, particularly if the main characters are of a lower social starus than the traditional hero in an epic tale. These ideas are described in detaíl in both tales. The Mongolian epiι tale ‘The man on the goat’ is similar to the Korean tale ‘SeoDong’ and the conclusion to ‘The man on the goat’ is sirnilar to the conclusion of the Sharman song ‘SamGongPulLee’ frorn Jejudo. Thus, it is assurned that these epic tales were told to cornrnunicate a cornrnon message in agricultural areas. For example, the princess gave a bar gold and was able to see nce m ‘The rnan on the goat’ ‘ While it is difficult to explain the relationship and spread of epic tales between Korea and Mongolia, the exarnination of literature from both areas can give sorne insight. This cornparison of Korean and Mongolian tales is signifiιant as it provides clues to their relationship.
