영문 초록

Sea battle at Noryang, which was the last naval battle of Imjin-Waeran, had achieved the most brilliant war results over 100 of naval battles for 7 years. This sea battle is very different from other battles because of many reasons. For example, It was the only battle that Ming navy played the active part in the battle, and it is the representative example of joint operation between Joseon and Ming, And Yi sun-sin, who was the most great admiral of world history, died a glorious death in a battlefield. And this sea battle is also important because the other countries made much of Joseon s navy due to the victory of this battle. As a result, Japan could not try to invade the south sea of Joseon for about 280 years. As we can see above, sea battle at Noryang should be considered to one of the most great battle in history of naval warfare. Although it is premodern sea battle, 400 years ago, it is worth of notice. and we need to learn a lesson from this sea battle, with mourning for the dead who died in this battle.
