국문 초록

안정적인 경제성장을 통해 국민들의 소득수준이 높아지고 있는 중국에서 해외 여행지를 방문하는 중국의 개별자유여행객이 증가 추세에 있다는 것은 이러한 중국개별여행객의 유입을 통해 한국 인바운드 관광시장의 발전에 긍정적인 신호탄이 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 순수관광목적으로 한국을 방문하는 중국인 개별자유여행객이 추구하는 가치를 분 석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중국인 개별자유여행객을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하고 수단-목적 사슬 모델을 적용하여 중국여행객들이 지각하는 한국여행선택속성의 인지구조를 파악하며, 그들이 한국관광을 통해 추구한 가치와 속성들의 영향 및 혜택에 대해 조사하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Considering that China has experienced steady economic growth and individual incomes have increased, the number of Chinese free independent travellers visiting overseas tourist destinations can also be expected to rise. The Korean tourism market is projected to grow in parallel with the growth in Chinese free independent tourism; Korea needs to keep an eye on the increase in outbound travel by this group of tourists. The purpose of this study is to investigate the values pursued by Chinese free independent travellers who go to Korea for pure tourism purposes, as a research study on Chinese free independent tourism. To this end, the study applied the hard laddering technique, which is a quantified in-depth interview method, to Chinese free independent travellers visiting Korea for pure tourism purposes based on the means-end chain theory in order to understand their cognitive structure (A-C-V structure) in relation to the selective attributes of Korea they perceive, which are their motivation for visiting Korea, and the consequences or benefits of the attributes and the values that they pursue through their travel to Korea.
