음악 특기적성 교육 운영 실태에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 내실 있는 음악 특기적성 교육의 활성화를 위해 최근의 방과후 학교 현황을 파악하고 음악 특기적성 운영 사례를 분석하여 운영 실태와 문제점을 진단함으로서 개선점을 찾고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 2012년도 방과 후 학교 교육통계자료를 바탕으로 방과 후 학교의 현황을 살펴보고, 교육과학기술부 한국교육개발원 시도교육청이 함께하는 방과후 학교 포털시스템에 탑재된 음악 특기적성 프로그램 사례 75개를 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 그 결과 방과후 학교는 해를 거듭할수록 확대되고 있으며, 수요자의 만족도도 높아지고 있으나, 그에 비해 음악 특기적성 프로그램은 다소 주춤하고 있어 활성화를 위한 노력이 요구되는 실정이다. 음악 특기적성 프로그램 사례 분석결과, 중 고등학교 보다는 초등학교에서 더 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 학교 밖 음악활동과 연계하여 다양한 형태로 이루어지고 있었다. 반면에 음악실 환경 조건이 열악하고, 프로그램이 대부분 기악실기 수업에 치중되었으며, 지도강사들은 교수방법측면에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제점을 개선을 위해 지역사회와 지차체 연계를 통한 음악시설 확충, 음악 특기적성 프로그램의 다양화, 지도강사를 위한 연수체제 마련 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The study aims to activate talent-aptitude music education implemented in the after school programs. For this purpose, the present study looks into the current status and problems of the implementation in after school programs and searches improving strategies through analyzing the cases of talent-aptitude music education. This study looks over the implementation status based on the actual data of the Year 2012 after school programs and analyzes 75 cases of talent-aptitude music education posted at portal systems by the M.E.S.T(Ministry of Education, Science and Technology), the K.E.D.I(Korean Educational Development Institute) and city, provincial education offices. Through this survey, some points become known that the after school programs have been expanded and also the satisfaction rates of the users have been growing up, too. However, talent-aptitude music education programs have been tottering and need some efforts to be activated. The other following points are found from this survey. - Talent-aptitude music education programs are more activated in elementary schools than in high/middle schools. - There are more instrumental training programs than singing training programs. - A lot of meaningful students are participating positively in various extracurricular music programs. - (Problem) The circumstances and conditions of the music training rooms are poor. - (Problem) Most programs are inclined to instrumental training programs. - (Problem) The teachers and trainers have trouble especially in teaching methods and relationship with their students. Finally, to solve and improve this problems, this study suggests some following improving ways. - The expansion of music training facilities connected to communities and self-governing bodies - The diversification of talent-aptitude music education program - The plan arrangement of the training system for the teachers and trainers
