한중 FTA가 한국의 중국 농산물 수입에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

한국과 중국의 농산물 무역이 증가되고 상호 의존성이 강화되면서 양국 간의 무역자유화가 확대되고, 한중 무역규모도 계속 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 한중 FTA 체결 이전과 이후의 중국 농산물 수입변동 현황을 분석하기 위해서 중국농산물 생산구조와 농산물 교역에서의 변화를 살펴보고 한중 FTA로 인한 무역자유화가 양국 농산물 교역에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이런 목적을 달성하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 HS CODE 분류 기준으로 01류~25류까지의 농산물을 대상으로 운용 시장 점유율 지수(PRM : Possession Ratio of Market)와 기준 표시성 비교우위 지수(NRCA : Normalized Revealed Comparative Advantage Index)를 분석하여, 한중 FTA가 양국 농산물 교역에 미친 여러 요인들과 이와 관련된 논의들을 살펴보았다, 이러한 결과, 한중 FTA 발효 이전보다 발효 이후 한국의 중국산 농산물 수입비중이 전반 적으로 증가하였음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Purpose : Since 1990 the trend of world economic cooperation and development has gradually formed internationally. And Korean and China have become the main economic development countries in east Asia. Thus, at present, China has become the largest trade partners of Korean and vice versa. The trade volume between Korean and China gradually has increased. However, the trade friction in Korea and China happens occasionally. Research design, data, methodology : There are many problems in the trade of agricultural products between Korea and China. In order to verify the reason and its solutions, we analyzed trade trend between two countries by PRM and NRCA. Results : China is the most important country to export its agricultural products to Korea no matter what the period during before or after FTA. Specially almost every agricultural products of China has gotten high level of competitiveness after Kor･Sino FTA. Conclusions : We expect to be able to contribute further cooperation of Korea and China in trade of agricultural products, because these two countries have a lot of merits such as geographic, regional and cultural aspects.
